What bourbon are you drinking? - Winter '13/'14

Sipping some Weller 12. This is either an exceptional batch or it's just been a long 6 months since I've had it.

I'm glad it's not just me. I thought it tasted damn good the other day but then again it has been some time since I had some as well. As for right now I'm having a generous pour of Booker's 25th.

After a long day listening to a sick kiddo cry, I'm enjoying the silence with 2 pours of Russell's Reserve SmB, which was quickly followed by CEHT SmB. Not much left in either of these, so I'm gonna knock them both out over the next few nights and move on to something else.

Today I am going with some Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit (as always, neat) that was bottled on November 25, 1998.

I would give y'all some tasting notes but I can't seem to get past the nose.

Drinking a Henry McKenna 10 yr SB BIB Bay Ridge Wine and Spirits Store Selection. I can definitely taste the family resemblance to EC12, but a lot more rye-forward. Really scratching the itch tonight.

Tonight the always reliable EWSB '02. I wasn't smart enough to stock up so I'll miss this one when gone. I hope the '03 and '04 (which are now available around here) are as good.

enjoyed another (though too small) pour of WT101 with a big ass plate of loaded nachos for dinner. I think this is a pretty solid bourbon, and a fallback when you're at a bar that doesn't stock much, as you can bet they'll have WT101

Josh, I'm sure you have answered this but thoughts on the 134.2 v 137? I found the 1st to be a stellar pop and pour but the 2nd needed a bit of water to get it in line w the 1st.

Had some single malts last night before moving on to bourbon:) haven't touched my single malts in a long time! I enjoyed a pour of bookers to end the night.

In my memory there's not much competition between the two in terms of neat drinkability, but I haven't had them SBS since I opened the 137 last summer. I'll have to update my opinion this evening.
