kwshannon
Ran into the spirits manager at the local grocery store, complimented him on his great and expanding bourbon selection. He said they've purchased a barrel select EWSB, and tried several BT samples to pick from for a barrel select BT. I ended up with a EW1783. RepTucker
Didn't know you could still get the JPS18. Just finished mine last night.I like the 18 a lot more than the 21.I know its gone in MS, but i was informed by the Castle Brands supplier yesterday that there are 18 cases at the AL ABC. All you have to do is convince a store to pick it up.
squire
But then I would have to travel fifteen miles to the store. Oh heck, forget it.
gobills23
Picked up a 1.75L of Weller 12 for $40. They sold out of ECBP right before I arrived so it was a good consolation prize.
yemenmocha
Weller 107. First bottle for me in about 10 years, sadly. Happy now though.
jmj_203
Weller 107. First bottle for me in about 10 years, sadly. Happy now though.Back to the delicious boubon after ten years, or first time you have seen weller 12 in ten years? Shoot in pa I found a WSR at 19.99 and felt like I was the luckiest bourbonian in my county. or state.
flaminiom
Last week I passed on a Black Maple Hill and went back for it. $60. Conventional wisdom seems to say I'll be disappointed, but life is a journey. I also grabbed an Old Scout Rye since that was the first time I saw it on a shelf. CaskStrength77
Found Barterhouse 20, Booker's 25th anniversary, and grandad 114 at Spec's today, bought them all. The barterhouse is great!!
Tony Santana
Grabbed two of the ETL Commemoratives, a nice tribute to Elmer. Also got a Single Oak Project, Barrel 179. Had never picked up one of these but read a really good review on that particular bottle. Very smooth, maybe too much so. I liked it, but not worth the price on the first pour. Will obviously have to revisit.

petrel800
Enjoyed heading to KY for a GBS barrel selection and to hang out at the cookout. Great hanging out with everyone. Brought back an ECBP batch 3 that a fellow member grabbed for me, a bottle of P and M liquors OBSK selection and one of their SA Rye Single Barrels, a bottle of AE Rye, a liquor barn selection of hancocks reserve and finally a 375 of 6 yr old 100 proof Barton. Not a bad weekend.

qcityking
Picked up an OGD BIB & a SAOS7 yesterday. First time I've seen a Smooth Ambler product in NC -- hopefully more of that to come!
tigerlam92
Went to one of my spot to check around. Saw only one ETL so picked it up. I've been passing for a very long time and been picking one once in a long while. Owner said someone just recently came in and bought a whole case (12). This was behind bottles and left behind. Oh well. Hope it went to someone who likes them. Another spot had private selected ETL I've been passing since I had some; this past week saw they were all gone too. Someone is clearing them up locally. Edited April 28, 2014 by tigerlam92
CaskStrength77
This weekend I bought a Willet 4-year rare release rye, a bottle of Barterhouse 20-year, Grandad 114, and Booker's 25th Anniversary edition (all at the midtown Spec's, for you Houston folks). I've only sampled the Willet and the Barterhouse so far, both are very tasty.
nd2005
I went to one store and was able to clearly see that they had some ETL commemorative edition in the back office. I was told it was all reserved, but that they had a bottle of Saz that I could have...for 15 over MSRP.Since I saw that the ETL had hit town, I went over to my favorite store. There they told me I could have as many bottles as I wanted - so I picked up 3 and left 3 others for someone else. Oh and I picked up a bottle of Saz from them for good measure (at MSRP no less). But then again, I wasn't specifically looking at ETL.

GaryT
Some VOB BIB 6yr, RRSmBSB (visitor center grand opening, which probably ain't one bit different than the rest - but just in case ), and some OFS. Didn't see as much in KY as I had hoped, but still a great trip!

fishnbowljoe
I acquired a few bottles at the sampler last week. Pic below. For those of you that noticed in the pic that my ugly, old fashioned wallpaper is missing, well…... My wife and I have been planning on doing a little updating and painting around the house. We've done some prep work in the kitchen and dining room, but really hadn't decided where to start. I came home from the sampler to no wall paper in the dining room, and all walls prepped and ready to paint.. Guess it's gonna be the dining room.
