What Bourbon did you purchase today? Summer 2014

Larceny - hadn't had it before and it was sub $22.

Have it in a glass right now and first impression is positive. The air conditioning is blowing like mad which make it difficult to nose. At this price I could easily keep it in rotation.

Second impression, wishing it were over 100 proof. If it were I would put it on charred oak cubes and let it sit a year in a half filled jug. Basing this on one taste.

California. No idea where this store keeps getting this stuff. I cleaned them out last time and they were restocked when I went back. They must have a ton of this stuff they can't sell in the back. Too bad they are super unfriendly, getting them to even sell me anything seems like a chore for them!

RR small batch. I tried the RR small batch single barrel, whatever that means, about a year ago and was thoroughly unimpressed. But I figured at roughly half the cost, why not give a 10 year WT product a chance?
