Boulevardier
Shockingly for this past year, my most consumed has been Dant BIB. Its my car bourbon. I keep it in the storage area of my trunk, therefore its sometimes my only option if I end up somewhere without bourbon. Ive bought over 30 different bottles this year, but Im just trying pretty much everything available. This is easily one of my favorite posts, and you've given me a new expression as well as a new concept in "car bourbon". Bless you.
Vosgar
I've been whacking Larcenys over the last couple of years at a rate that I'm not sure HH is able to keep up production to match...

Pudsky
ER10 is by far my most consumed label. I was able to find a store select that was fantastic, and when I could purchase it on a Tuesdays when 10% off it was 23.99 before tax. I have several left in my bunker since that barrel is gone from the retailer where I found it. Ill pour that one freely whenever the mood suits me.EC12 is next. Wow I really love that stuff. After that my shelfs of empties are pretty much all different bottles. I love having a variety open at one time.
mbroo5880i
I agree that a good store select of ER10 can be great! At $23.99, I would love to bunker several recent store selects. Unfortunately, most have been in the upper $20s and lower $30s.Same with Larceny. I know it is in Indy but I haven't seen it in the store yet. I would gladly pay $29.99 for a 1.75 L. I have paid around $23 for a 750 ml when I have bought in KY or IL.

mbroo5880i
Best price I've seen on Larceny here is $24.99/750. I'd expect it to start popping up everywhere soon.Still a great price!

jonhalter
Check your state and local laws. In FL you are allowed to have an open container as long as it is not within reach of the driver. Basically if its in the trunk its fine. I go a step farther and put it in the storage area under my trunk. Car bourbon may be illegal where you are. If is allowed, I highly recommend keeping a bottle. This is easily one of my favorite posts, and you've given me a new expression as well as a new concept in "car bourbon". Bless you. Yeti
If we're counting from the first sip, then it's probably Beam white or Maker's Mark by a country mile. If we're talking the last 12-24 months then the many iterations of Four Roses Single Barrel, again, by a country mile.
Jazz Nut
Over the last 12 months I'd say Four Roses (Single Barrel, Small Batch, Store Selects) for bourbon. For Scotch it would be Springbank.
ethangsmith
My top 10 (Arrow indicates consumption picking up > or slowing down < ):1. Old Grand Dad BIB >2. Wild Turkey 101 bourbon < (Like everything else WT, it's getting hot and thin)3. Wild Turkey 101 rye >4. Pikesville Rye >5. Old Ezra 101 <6. Elijah Craig 12 >7. Old Heaven Hill BIB <8. Wild Turkey Rare Breed < (Since the new label has been introduced, I will stop buying it because of how bad it is)9. Ezra Brooks 90 <10. Old Forester BIB >
TheNovaMan
If we're talking lifetime consumption, I suspect I've drunk more Ten High than anything else. For a long time, I was content to guzzle that in mixers, on ice, neat in a rocks glass, or straight from a bottle or flask. Then they turned it into a "bourbon blend," which was a very sad day for me, but it also led me to find this wonderful community and try lots of other nice bourbons. If we consider only this calendar year, then it's Evan Williams black label for me.
jonhalter
I like this. It seems that quite a few of us drink "inexpensive" bourbon, but even that is quite tasty. In this community, drink what you like, and dont be ashamed of it. If we're talking lifetime consumption, I suspect I've drunk more Ten High than anything else. bourbonfoot
Crown Royal by far... my pre-bourbon years weren't the best. Since then if we're talking one label it's probably EC12, with Four Roses Single Barrel coming in a close 2nd. If we're talking "labels" then Four Roses Private Selection(s) might win out. flahute
I'm nearing the end of the "try everything at least once" phase that most newbies go through so while I have established some favorites I don't yet have a pattern of preferential consumption that puts a clear winner on top. If I had to guess it would probably be WT101 and 4R PS Single Barrels.
