Spade
After a busy day enjoying some Eagle Rare 10. Sometimes this one's a little too sweet for me, but it's right on the money tonight.
Paddy
Back on the private selection 4RSB tonight. Probably going to go bye bye pretty quickly, this one is...
LCWoody
Started with the new EHTBP.......not to impressed. So moved onto some good 'old reliable, SAOS 7y.
smokinjoe
A good friend called wanting to bring a gift over. He says I wasn't wanting to force you to drink tonight, but just wanted to give you this to thank you for all the great pours you've shared with me from your collection. :shocked:I'd had a heck of a day and wasn't really in the mood, but his gift (a 4RSB private selection barrel of the standard) couldn't be ignored. So, when opportunity knocks... I call another buddy and we all end up drinking 3/4 of this delicious gift bottle, plus killed off the remainder of a WT101 that I'd been working on. Can't wait to see what tomorrow holds...
Harry in WashDC
A couple of OGD 114's, each with a small ice cube and left alone until it melts. Needed them as this was a tough tough day - saw "Minions" in 3D.Edit - A couple of ounces per pour, not a couple of 750's. Although I did buy two 750s of 114 today. Gillman
EW white label, the bond recently put on the market here. One of the best offerings currently at LCBO, different profile to the Beam (or MM) and 4R products, clean, nutty and rich. Definite winner. I used a rock or two which suits current weather.Gary
TunnelTiger
Good Lord it's hot here but some 93 proof ETL over a cube made the evening tolerable.

When my over-flowing bunker from my IN trip gets near the bottom eventually and I have to start paying MI prices again that will be one I buy often. Waiting for the big BIB sampler night with a few buddies which will include AA BIB, Beam BIB (also relatively new to our market), HH BIB (4 year old black label, as I have yet to come across the white label), JTS Brown and VOB. Not necessarily looking for a good/better/best ranking so much as simply comparing and contrasting them. Should be interesting and fun.
Jazz Nut
I had several pours of OWA and WSR last night, but what I did is combine 50/50 OWA and WSR to reduce the proof a bit of the OWA as well as bring up the flavor of WSR. Seemed to work well. I am sure others do this as well, but I was pleased. And it may become a regular rotation.

The OWA/W12 at 3:2 is better but W12 is basically impossible to find up here right now. I have about a fifth of the poor mans pappy blend mixed up and down in the bunker so it can be rationed until I can hopefully find more W12 this fall and some OWA that isn't $10 over state minimum pricing. bin31z
Sipping on the last 1/3rd of my last bottle of Blanton's SFTB. This was a great bottle and I'm sad to see it go so fast but its just so darn easy to drink at full proof.

"SB Blend". Not PMP.If anything, the blend is Poor Man's Weller Centennial or perhaps Weller Centennial Imitation.
Swoboda
Last night, after some killer BBQ from Joe's KC . . . Virgin 101, Mellow Corn and OGD114 shared with an old friend in from out of town . . . slept rather well.
flahute
Had a lunch presentation at work get cancelled last minute and had no other plans for lunch so what to do?.......go to the whiskey bar next to the office, of course. I hardly ever do this at lunch because, well, it's dangerous. Need to stay sharp at the office! On this exception of a day I had the Old Ezra 7yr 101 proof. First time trying it and dang, this is a fantastic budget bourbon. It's not widely available out here but I know of one small out of the way store that has it so I will be paying them a visit shortly.
GaryT
Small blind sbs of two local 1792 picks. Both are nice, but the color gives away what I presume to be the older one (and also the one with more depth).
fozzy71
Non-blind SbS of MM46 and Larceny for me tonight to start things off. Both are awesome but for the (non-sale) price Larceny is the easy winner and I like the extra kick on the finish of the Larceny. Will probably just work on finishing the MM46 bottle since it is the closest to empty if I don't switch to something else I have open or one of my mingles. Paddy
Must be a 4R night in Lex Dan, as I've basically stuck a straw in this private selection SB and sipped on it all week! As I punch another hole into my cult membership card...
MOwhisky4me
Broke the seal on a bottle of Elijah Craig 12 Yr... Watching the ballgame while taking this first glass neat. Will probably add a large chunk of ice to my second glass.
