flahute
Enjoying Thursday Night Football with a little EWBIB, KC, and the icing on the cake - Booker's 25th.
Tucker
Finished up a MMCS Batch 15-02. Although I think it improved as I reached the end of the bottle, I don't think I'll be looking for more. One of the wife's cats, however, really likes his MM Christmas gift.
flahute
I'm going to mention Booker's 25th again. Amazing pour. More of this please Beam. I know you have the whiskey. Do something with it already.
KyleCBreese
Had another blind pour from the cabinet. I was way off. I thought maybe it was Virgin 101, but it ended up being an OBSF. I don't think I am a fan of the F yeast, because I didn't like the OESF I've had in the past either.
Kpiz
Popped open a bottle of Jim Beam Brown Rice last night. Not sure what to make of it - first impression was pretty good but it didn't have much of that classic Beam profile (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Will be revisiting it tonight. atbat82
SAOS7 last night. Phenomenal. I thank whoever first recommended it and I'm glad I bout two bottles. Then had a pour of 1792 Port Finished. Not my cup of tea. Not a bad bourbon, but I don't particularly like the port finish. Glad I tried it, but it's going to be a slog to get through the bottle. Probably leave it for a while and see if it changes (or if my tastes change). FRSmB lined up for tonight.

One of my cats saw this post as I was scrolling and I swear, the look in his eye was "Don't even @#$% think about it . . . " Sniffer is a bit stuffy, but it was a helluva week at work - so pouring some Abe Bowman Pioneer Spirit I keep forgetting about (18 yrs, 137 proof). Harry in WashDC
Finished the dregs of a liter OGD bonded that I couldn't fit in a screw top OGDBIB I use as an OGD BIB decanter ( because I love the orange screwtop more than the cork in the new bottles) and THEN attacked the decanter while watching Georgetown beat THE BIG ORANGE SYRACUSE. Paddy
My of my oldest (and dearest) friends mother passed this week. Last night, after the memorial service, we toasted her life and our friendship with a bottle of 4R SmB. Here's to good friends and a life well lived! gmrv4
Evan Williams Single Barrel 2004. Really enjoying this stuff. Purchased 2 more bottles for the bunker after realizing how much I liked this stuff. Shared it with my friend who is a lot more bourbon savvy than I. Fun to share with a buddy who appreciates it too.
