Thought I scored a bottle of WLW from this year's release, but as it turns out it is 140.2 proof, which I believe is the 2014 release. Still quite excited as it is my first WLW, and it cost me $69.99 before tax.

Consider yourself lucky!! 2014 is supposed to be one of the best WLW releases ever. I was not able to find one last year. I have all the releases from 2009 forward except 2014. Even though I want one badly I refuse to pay flipper prices for one.

I bought an ORVW10 for the first time in four years last night. (I shifted heavily into beer in 2011.) Went to a local chain store, inquired as to whether they had any VW left for sale and they asked for my loyalty card. Kid spent a few minutes looking into my past purchases and told me they had the 10 in stock. He then went into the backroom and returned with a heavily wrapped bottle and a code that he read to the cashier so I could make my buy.

Sadly, I was denied at the other two locations of this same chain that I hit afterwards.

The new offering of Old Forester BIB showed up today in my area for the first time. Grabbed one today. Haven't cracked it yet; but I will in a day or two.

Picked up one bottle of Michter's Toasted Barrel 2015. I really enjoyed the 2014 offering. I'm excited to do a side by side comparison of the two.
