Bonded vatting of JB:EW to start and now having a glass of WTKS.  The only other bottle I pulled out for tonight is OGD114 so I might have to taste that also as I have a few calories to spare today while transitioning to (and learning how to plan/eat) the new Keto meal plan I am trying out now that I am at my goal weight.

Nursing a sore achilles, so working from home before the storm hits.  After lunch, a sip (for medicinal purposes) of WT RR SB from the 7th floor. At 55%, just love the fullness of flavors and mouthfeel.  Man this is good.  Think I'll leave the bottle out to enjoy during the storm...

Two wonderful pours on this chilly and rainy night.  A bit of Larceny to start, and then a bit of Buffalo Trace.  At roughly $0.80 per ounce...

I decided I am in bottle killing mode as I am sick of pulling stuff out of the way when I want a high end pour.  Enough cals left today for 3 big pours of WTKS tonight I think, which probably won't quite kill the bottle.  Won't be tasting my OESF and OESV (and booker's, stagg jr, ecbp, rhf, etc) for a while as I have quite a few bottles in their way right now that need to be killed off.  Plan is when I have a drink going forward to pick one bottle, pull it out, and only drink off that one bottle that night.  Life is hard.

I've been into BT mash #2 the past couple nights. Starting out with Blanton's both times. Joe recently posted about revisiting Blanton's and appreciating the elegance and refinement of it. I have to agree. I first tried Blanton's early in my journey and found myself at the end of the bottle declaring it to be to mellow and plain compared to many others I could get for less money so I swore off it for a long time. More than a year later, I took advantage of it being back in stock finally to pick up a couple and I'm glad I did. Newfound appreciation for it. Yes, it's mellow. But it's also quality. I'm not always in the mood for this profile, but it definitely has a place. A very god place. I've also been visiting with with ETL and Hancock's.

Finishing this evening with an EC12. Just love this stuff. I've purchased 8 bottles of this since the announcement of the age statement going away, and I'll probably buy more if I see it. It's just perfect for me. I'm sure I'll like the new product just fine, but in anticipation of it being different, I'm loading up on what I know I love right now.

Had some WRDO with dinner, then kicked it up a notch with Stagg, Jr., Batch 5.  Kinda jumping all around, because now I'm drinking MM46.  I have no idea what will be next.

I almost had that exact same progression (WRDO, Stagg Jr.) with dinner, but opted for the house Negroni (twice) instead.

It's snowing in Georgia.  Seems like a perfect opportunity to enjoy a pour of OGD BIB.

Just came back in from the last shoveling of the night.  8" so far with maybe another foot expected.  BT got me through.

Tons of snow on the ground here in WNC and after pushing some around with the shovel decided it was a nice time to kick off the night with a small pour of EC22. Followed that up with two pours of KCSB from TPS. Damn bottle has got a leak in it! I just opened is two weeks ago and it is almost had gone. Might be the fastest I have ever gone through a bottle.

I declare that you should drink one finger per inch of snow received.

Back-to-back travel weeks means "whatever is behind the bar" or whatever I remember to pack.  Thankfully thought ahead and brought the last of a local OBSO for the first week.  Sadly forgot and was stuck with the worst select I had seen in a bar (when you ask what bourbon you have, and the first two they name are Crown Royal and Wild Turkey Honey . . . )  Thankful to have made it home before the travel got really ugly!

Hmmm, since they are expecting 36" of snow here in Central NJ, that is 36 fingers!  My head may hurt worse than my back!

Stuck inside due to the blizzard.  Figured I'd have a little nip of JBB 8 year that I recently picked up and is new to me.  Pretty good--I can both see why this was a well thought of basic offering with some nice oak and caramel, and also how this would go downhill as NAS (as without that oak and caramel, there's no real backbone here to support a NAS bourbon).  Glad I picked up a few of the 8 year to have around.
