Was hoping to score a PVW 20 or 15 this year, but certainly wasn’t going to turn these down!

Cant wait to try them! Had a MWND last year and really enjoyed it over the holidays. #themostwonderfultimeoftheyear

I'd take this lot over a Pappy 20 any day.

Nothing overly special particularly compared to some of the rare specimens posted in this thread. I won't lie, as gimmicky as the little box is it did successfully grab my attention.

Lucked into a ECBP B517 by chance as i was “just browsing”. First time i’ve seen it on a shelf at MSRP. Wasn’t planning to buy anything since the bunker is full of other stuff, but i just got a promotion and feel it deserved a celebratory bottle when I stumbled across this.

Nice find! I've try to see one in the wild at a reasonable price.

Congrats on the promotion. Enjoy a pour as soon as you can.

Cheers!

Went in for the rye on my way home and walked out with the last bottles of both. I had a small pour of each now and I'm really liking the uniqueness.

The sweetness of the rye surprised me a little, and the master's collection reminds me a bit of the smell when I worked in a sawmill in high school. I'll be revisiting these regularly I think.

Thanks to local SB member Jfletchgu for the find! I thought finding 8year OC was not gonna happen. Glad I made it out alive.

Nice find! I don't even think that lands in this state.

Guessing you went to the hood to pick those up. Mix with Stagg Jr. equal parts, good stuff. Would love to get some of the dusty 12yr that's at 90.

Looking forward to trying this year's Woodford Masters Collection, but it hasn't hit our area yet.

If you haven't had the 1920, you are in for a treat.

Enjoyed mine. Going to have to be careful and make sure most of the bottle makes it to Thanksgiving

Think the woodford is $99 here. Is it $99 good?

I wasn't expecting to see it, but it was the last bottle on the shelf, so I felt compelled. I haven't had any of the expressions from previous years, so I figured I would give it a shot.

It was $89 here, but the 'is it worth it' thing is subjective. If you want to try something kind of unique, then yeah. I personally have an affinity for collecting things, but if I didn't, I wouldn't buy any booze that is over $60.

I enjoyed cheap MWND the last few years. Total Wine used to sell it for $64+tax and I bought a lot. This year I think they popped it up to like $83+tax so probably right at the $90 amount out the door. I still buy it though, as it's one of the pours I know I'll like each year, and it's the perfect pour to share around the holidays. I don't feel bad about that price in today's environment

TW here has it for $110 + tax. One of the first things I've seen at noticeably lower prices in the small LSs around here.

Went back and grabbed a bottle. Owner has no idea why she got these SB bottles. Said they just came in place of her normal order.

Picked up a store pick EC12. You can see on the label on the right the 12y age statement under the tree. Interesting find seeing how EC small batch is now NAS.

I was talking to the owner of the store and he said they are getting a ER10 barrel select in the next few weeks. He said he was told by BT they are dropping the 10y age statement on ER10. Although I think that is not news to anyone here.

I can't wait to try it at your house so that I don't need to buy one. Thanks for taking one for the team Bruce!

I’m not necessarily “in the know” but read the board regularly and this would be news to me??? I️ hope it’s not true.
