If it is, I hope no one buys his whiskey. It's also ironic he's sourcing it. If I'm wrong, I sincerely apologize

Cedar Creek winery is there. It is part of the Wollersheim winery/group. The lady at the counter there told me they were working on a bourbon. I reckon she was telling me the truth. Biba! Barrel proof at exactly 50% abv? What are the odds of that? I really appreciate that they show the mashbill, might be an interesting one to try at a bar/restaurant. Proof can change from what is listed on the COLA so the 50% is likely a placeholder. Strong Spirits has done a few different releases under this branding and they have been very popular in the NY market, not sure about elsewhere. Geez, by now you'd think I'd understand the proof aspect of their application . Thanks for setting me straight!

Vosgar
Regarding this one... "this Japanese Single Grain uhh...... caught my eye" https://www.ttbonline.gov/colasonline/viewColaDetails.do?action=publicFormDisplay&ttbid=19199001000888 I found out the name of this whisky means "impossible". Bought it a few years ago and it's surprisingly good for a rice whiskey, very bourbony, but like a lower proof lighter flavored bourbon. I've got a Ohishi single barrel sherry cask here. It's good and very unique. It tastes like a musty old basement filled with wine casks, in a good way.

IIRC the single barrel bourbons they do are at least sometimes barrel proof.

I've picked up the sourced 8 Year 104 proof (corn) whiskey they have sold it's like an amped up Mellow Corn to me, I've also gone through a couple bottles of Maid in the Meadow for cocktails. I like Beacon and usually take a train up a few times a year.
