And it's brewed in Portland. The city of much great comedy. And righteous hate. Both ways! Regardless these people make fantastic beer. The fruit sours I knew about, but they've been doing good IPAs for a long time from what I can gather. This is bullseye on style and drinks like a single. We're lucky to be able to get it in the northeast! Thanks for the heads up on these guys as I was not aware of them. Turns out they have two taprooms here in Seattle so I will check them out. The first was the Blueberry Muffin. It's three months old but I don't think that is to blame for the chemically taste that ruins this one for me. Too much vanilla again but the flavor is just kind of artificial. The watermelon beer is much more palatable but the watermelon flavor is muted and it could pass as a generic sour. I recommend the Edge of the Dessert and the Super Ripe unreservedly, these other two...not so much.

I'm not into the sours as much so happy to hear that the IPA is good.

0895
It’s late June, the AC is on, and for whatever stupid reason, I uncharacteristically wanted stout tonight. In a blind of 2015-2019, the ‘18 came in dead last for everyone involved. On its own tonight, the booze and chocolate notes are very nice.

Phil T
Back home and settled in with this. A Texas brewery masterpiece.

smokinjoe
Terrapin Hopsecutioner at the Park, tonight. Marlins pitcher just hit Acuna in the ass with the first pitch. He gets tossed, and Mattingly bitches for 15 minutes and won’t leave the field after finally getting tossed himself. Well, I got beer and bourbon available, so I’m good!

Kepler
I'm not a sophisticated beer drinker. No, I'm a simple man. But I had one of these earlier this evening with dinner. I like this variation and I'll be buying more of these.

LCWoody
I hurt my back earlier this week so I’m having to take a few days off to let it heal up. I was cooking some hamburgers for lunch today and thought why not have a beer since I don’t have to work. So poured myself a 2018 bourbon county stout.
dad-proof
Hope you feel better @LCWoody backs are no joke. I poured a local Italian style Pilsner that I quite enjoy.
smokinjoe
So far today, it’s been a ping pong match between sunshine and downpours. The Bell’s Tropical Oberon is fitting.
HoustonNit
Picked this up in the discount cart yesterday, half price. A 2016 Bruery version of a Geuze beer with I guess is like a farmhouse ale, wild yeast, aged I think did a year in oak barrels. If you like sour blonde ales it’s great. flahute
In Ohio for the big family reunion. The actual reunion is a very tame affair as mine is a mostly church going family. Afterwards - went to my cousins parents house (who have long ago come to terms with the fact that their adult children drink) and for the first time since probably college I had a Corona. And I liked it. I also brought bourbon but that’s a story for a different thread.
