fishnbowljoe
I've been busier than the proverbial one armed paper hanger lately. I figured I'd post about these now that I had time to catch my breath and relax a little. Both are private selections, and they are very good. Zen is fast approaching. One or two more bottles maybe. On second thought, who am I trying to kid? Biba! Joe

Whats crazy is that its a 25 year age statement and distilled in 1988.
jwperry
You hit the nail on the head! Outside of the Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye and Dalmore 12, all of the others were in fact Sourced and Certified (including the Bowman Bros.). It's amazing how quickly those add up with the double points. The Empery is such an incredible rum! We tried a small pour of it last night and it was genuinely surprising. That Glen Moray was a super rich, deep fruit bomb, with an amazing sweet maltyness. You could definitely tell how the years have matured it. Let me know how the 18 Year turns out when you get it. Bonus Points: The Glen Moray was distilled the same year that my wife was born, and she is a scotch drinking girl, so it just made that bottle extra specialI haven't seen the Bowman Brother's on the shelf in a year in my ABC stores I frequent. It was in the Vault last year.Same for Empery, it was in the Vault last year too. It has quickly become my favorite spirit and a go-to pour when I want something full and flavorful. I'm glad to see it's a shelf item now, albeit at a very premium price compared to where I was ordering it from in California. I'll update when I actually do grab the GM 18y, I've been trying to abstain from alcohol purchases this month for myself since I have enough booze to last me 2-3 years.... I've been getting my ABC points via the Humidor. [emoji16]
GaryT
Thanks to a fellow SB'er for pointing out someone had ECBP for $60, I snagged a bottle of A119. Just realized I have a B518 I've never opened, so thinking about time I fix that (maybe a 3 way of A119 vs B518 vs C917). Store had some B519 as well, but I need to wait until tomorrow (the budget resets at midnight around here )

Picked up two bottles with 10% off coupon. That's a great price before your coupon! When I saw them in my area (Indy) they were between $21.99 and $25.99. I haven't seen one for awhile. mbroo5880i
Kroger had a 30% off sale this weekend so it was time to stock up on standard stuff. A few deals worth noting. I got an Eagle Rare for $20.29. They only had one or I would have gotten more if they would have let me. FRSiB for $26.59. WR for $23.09. I usually try to pick up a few mid-to-higher end bottles during these sales but standard stuff worked well on this trip. I do like the stronger bourbons though, as it’s a sensory experience with more than flavor. But that oeso pick is *really* hot. Just took me back.
