The Heaven's Door was a freakin' delicious flavor bomb. Cask strength five or six (I don't recall which) year MGP K&L store pick. I'm glad I bought a couple of these when they were on clearance. Love me a good MGP bottle, especially so many store picks. K&L is opening a store that is only about 30-35 minutes away (instead of over an hour) so I may have to sneak out more often. Curious if you picked up some of their Rebel store picks that were discounted.
Davesnothere
This one was very nice. It only lasted about two months once it was opened.

How could I not? They were like half price and super tasty. Did you grab any? I think Rebel is Heaven Hill distillate, though, but nothing wrong with that. K&L in SF is less than 30 minutes from my house (if there's not much traffic, hah) but I only buy online. They'll hold your orders for up to 60 days for free then, if I've accumulated $500 (which is not hard to do) they'll deliver it to my house for only $9.

Swamp55
The latest crop of empties, ready for the big blue bin. All winners in this group. I’m pleased that the recent difficulty I had in finding Pikesville appears over and I can get it as desired now. I don’t drink a lot of rye, but this is a good one to me. The Calumet 16 continues to sing for me. The profile is just in my wheelhouse, and I have really enjoyed the two or three bottles of this that I have had so far – a nice combo of mature oak and cherry to my palate. I was lucky and picked up the CEHTSmB for MSRP through a LS loyalty program. I have always been fond of this one. It provides a really nice example of the BT house style at a good proof and age. And, the Baker’s SiB is a dependable and enjoyable pour, even if I’m not sure if I like it as well as the old SmB (wine bottle) version. Perhaps the price of bottle variation in a single-bottle release.

Patrick_OKC
Finished off a staple in WT101, and an older ECBP. Bunker beatdown has been in progress for over three years. Starting to see empty shelf space. Pat

Two empty OWA’s, and I haven’t even seen one in the wild in over 3 years. Although word has it that our local Binny’s might have had a few bottles recently. Not a fan of double oaked anything... I definitely hear you about double barrels (especially double-barreled bourbons, which don't need the extra sweetness that the second barrel provides) ... BUT that's one that I actually enjoy. I have one of those, and I'd buy it again. Edited February 17 by Kepler
