I've rated them this way 2021>2018>2017 I have a 19 and 20 unopened that I haven't tried yet. Everyone says the better ones were 2013 and before but I've never had them.
IamMatt
Nothing too exciting, just killed a bottle of ET BIB. I keep forgetting how good it is til I go back to it. There was only one medium pour left in it so the question becomes, what shall I move on to? The mind boggles.

Davesnothere
I understand taste is subjective, but I loved this one. I think I have another in the bunker, I hope I have another in the bunker. Even if I do have another stashed, I've convinced myself I need to pick up another one as I am still running across them in Tennessee. I've said it many times and I'll say it again: Saying "This is the worst Elijah Craig Barrel Proof" is kinda like saying "She's the ugliest Victoria's Secret model."

Have you looked at a Victoria's Secret catalog lately? I actually told my wife not to bother buying anything. There were bald models, morbidly obese models, and every flavor of different. I think the worst part is the garments didn't even fit them well. It's not even that they were promoting body positivity, it's like they hired models and photographers off the street.

Anwalt
I have a lot of bottles, drink my 2 oz on weekdays and consequently take some time to completely empty bottles. Patterns may be beginning to develop though....
Skinsfan1311
I won't be replacing this one. It wasn't bad, and reasonably priced, but I prefer the high rye bourbon picks. I've had a couple different picks, and they've all been fantastic.
jvd99
Polished this off…another LS barrel pick I had to buy as part of the club which gives access to the allocated stuff. Wasn’t excited about a NAS bourbon from a distillery I’ve never even heard of, but I was shocked how good it was! Even thinking of getting another. The one I had was not double oaked but was really good. MGP distillate, IIRC.
Clueby
Got to try the 101 version of ER17 for the first time last night. It was pretty great. But..now it's gone. Edited June 23, 2024 by Clueby

Yup I recall that the ones I see around are distilled in Indiana, ... so MGP. I haven't noticed a double oak one though.

Thomm
I drank the last half of this bottle mixed into Manhattans, because the bitters and sweet vermouth really dominated the flavor profile. It wasn't bad, just nothing stood out. Bought this in Kentucky last year because I hadn't seen it before (the BIB version, that is).

Either you need to go to the hospital pronto, or else all your lucky buddies had a great time along with you! Cheers!

It was a friend's bottle that had about an inch or two left and he brought it to a bourbon night and let us all share/kill it. There was enough for 6 people to have a small pour.

But a friend who knows the owners recommended this one. And I was likewise very happily surprised at how good it is. I'd daresay it's my favorite double oaked bourbon.

It’s hard to have deep reflections when chasing around a 1 year old. Anyways, we met in mid 2018. I spied her sitting atop a bookshelf behind the liquor store register. She had a layer of dust, hence qualified as a dusty. We spent some enjoyable evenings together. Turkey really hits its stride in the 12-17 year old range. Oak definitely dominated with a nice creamy mouth feel. 86 proof was fine and there was plenty going on flavor wise that I did not want more. As Richnimrod put it, it was some of the most fun I’ve had with my clothes on. WTMK One is similar but not as refined with its toasted finish. I’d still rank Revival over this one, which is my favorite WTMK release. The Turkey spice really conjoins with that sherry finish.
