For example, he has implied to me, on more than one occasion, that Buckeyes are something other than Perfect Beings Gifted From God to Others. Which everyone knows to be complete BS, we Buckeyes are in fact Perfect Beings Gifted From God to others. But he meant well, so I, in my magnanimous Buckeye Perfection, accepted his lack of understanding because it's meant in a friendly "bro on bro" fashion. Yours is another friendly bro-on-bro comment from <sigh> the imperfect Hoosier and (in my Perfect Buckeye Mind) the Original Cheap Bastard. It's all good. @MyBrainOnWhiskey, I apologize if you misunderstood. @Anwalt is correct. I used a play on your screen name to make a "tongue-in-cheek" reference that once we get into this hobby all we do is buy more and more. I often pretend that I have no intent to buy something knowing full well once I walk into the store I am likely to walk out with something.

It's lack of space that is my biggest obstacle. Sometimes I need to pull back on the purchases and acquisitions and just enjoy what I have while I work on making more space. Now time to go pour something tasty . Cheers!

I read a comment about that ^, but I've seen no evidence in my area that Cooper's Craft 100 is going bye-bye. However, if it does, I'll survive. There's plenty of good budget bourbon out there. For some reason, your state of Florida seems to get a lot of Cooper's Craft. It is not distributed in California. Last Time I bought some it was from an online store if Florida. When I heard it was being discontinued and looked online again, it seemed like Florida stores had a lot.
PaulO
I have done little to no Bourbon hunting over the past month or so. Most of the spare time was spent shopping for a replacement car, after mine unexpectedly died on me. So today after completing business at the DMV for the new vehicle, I celebrated by some shopping. I picked up Rebel 100 family size, but they were all out of JW Dant. I saw some Scotch I may go back for, after a little research.

meadeweber
I picked up a Bulleit Barrel Strength Bourbon Batch 8. Had a small sip last night and I wasn't impressed but I'll have to give it another try. Do we know where Bulleit is sourcing from these days? Also picked up a Knob Creek Single Barrel Rye on sale.
bayouredd
Short term amnesia is a terrible thing or a good thing; I can't remember... I'm pretty sure that I was done buying 'til September releases come about, however these jumped in the car while I was busy talking to the cashier. (aliens maybe) The Short barrel is an 11yr, 119.2pf, MGP dark looking beauty. Sure hope it's worth the Benjy + tax.

They do remember me when “nice” things come in. I have also bought a lot of their store picks of RR, BT and 4R.

BottledInBond
I don’t buy much these days but picked up a 1.75 of EWBIB to go into some cocktails. A solid mixing option for $30
GeeTen
Finally found one in the WILD and snapped that puppy up! Sample was from my open bottle. Didn't include the three (3) Blanton's Golds and the case (6 btls) of Blanton's SFTBs (133.6pf) 'cause I didn't want anyone to think I was showin' off or nuffin'. We had to go out shopping earlier this week. As per the norm, I stopped at a liquor store on the way home. They had a few Blanton’s and Weller CYPB’s a couple of days before. “Missed it by this much.” So, SOS DD here.
Double C's
was on the fence about getting the B524 batch, but one of my local grocery stores had some of these the other day. I told myself that if any were still left today when I went shopping I would grab one. Got the last one they had and at the best price I've seen on them in a LONG time.
smokinjoe
Up in Kentucky for the annual Hootenanny. Made a couple of stops, and pleased to find these. I was going to get multiples of the Cooper’s Craft as it is a favorite, and its future is perilously uncertain, but decided on just one.
markandrex
This was a gift from a friend “down under”. I had asked him to keep an eye out for one and he came through. Rarebird 101 rated it as just average. He had an interesting speculation on the reasoning for it being an AUS/NZ only offering. My OCD is complete.
meadeweber
Was excited to find a RR Single Barrel Barrel Selection. Haven't seen one of these in awhile. Last time I saw them the label looked the same as the regular SB and it had a tag around the neck denoting it was a barrel pick. It now has a different label designating it is a "Private Barrel Selection". The ABV is the same at 55%. The dates of distilling, dumping, and bottling are on the back. This one is 9+ y/o.
