Lagavulin 16 just hit the bin after I a nice double-pour to finish her off. In my top 5 of pours I crave regularly.

I'll second that. Lagavulin is a favorite of mine. I have about a quarter of a bottle of 16 left. I haven't finished it off, because it's sometimes hard to get in my area.

I'll probably kill the last of the Talisker 10 tonight.

Ardbeg Uigeadail gave its last pour. Cloudy, rich and smokey. I love the proof on this as well. It will be missed and not replaced very soon for budgetary reasons :( .

Tonight finished a bottle of Rosebank 13yo, sherry cask, Whisky Galore bottling. Nice stuff, but not sure if it's $78 nice, so it may not be replaced...

Finished my first bottle of Caol Ila: Connoiseurs Choice 1997. Very impressive, though expensive. I will seek out more expressions from this distillery.

I just finished the last pour of Bunnahabhain 12. I have to get another bottle of this... very good stuff.

I really enjoyed my last bottle as well. A terrific bargain single malt for about $40.

My third bottle of the Balvenie Madeira Cask bit the dust tonight.

That has always interested me. Notes?

I've been meaning to do a review of this but just never got around to it. However, if you like the Portwood 21 you'll like this one too. I think it may even be a shade better.

I polished off a couple bottles this week. I sadly finished a bottle of Laphroaig Quarter Cask, and a half bottle of Macallan 12. I loved the 1/4 cask, but The Macallan was pretty meh, as the kids say.

For the last few drams out of each, I vatted them together 1:1, and tasted them alongside CB's Peat Monster. The PM was better, but my vatting held it's own!

I recall that it was not too long ago that you just bought the 1/4 cask. Man, you went thru that quick! Well, sometime over the holidays you'll have to stop by the house and we'll do a little 1/4 cask and cask strength side x side.

Glendower 8 year old pure malt. I was sad to see it go but at that price replacing it won't be too challenging!

I really liked the Portwood 21. Haven't had any of that in long time.

Drinking the last of my Laphroaig Quarter Cask right now. Not for the timid, but I really enjoyed this bottle. I will likely buy Laphroaig again to continue to explore this brand (might as well, I am a proud owner of a square foot of their land).
