bourbonNOOG
I know I might be the only one, but the 4grain is tasting mighty good this eve. Paired with some Godiva dark chocolate. Batch 1 if that matters.

BMartin42
Now, that sounds great! A toast to a night of good luck and great cards. What do you guys play?Cheers!Depends who is doing the hosting. Tonight it is dealer's choice. 3 Guys host dealer's choice and 3 of us host Texas Hold'em including myself. Usually we go with whatever is open on the bar (none of us ever have lessthan 4-5 bottles open), but we are giving ourselves an early Christmas present with the bourbon selections this evening. smokinjoe
Sounds good BMartin. I'm moving on back to an Evan Williams Antebellum Decanter. Bit 'O' Honey candy out the ying yang with this pup. Really good.
B.B. Babington
Stagg neat for early evening now Woodford Maple. Nice evening. They pair well together which made me wonder that perhaps some folks may like the maple better if they cut with water the same way some cut Stagg. smokinjoe
A healthy pour of Maker's Mark. Such a very nice bourbon. Just $19.99. It's getting to the point that it's difficult to find a cheaper bourbon in my neighborhood store. MM may have one of the best QPR's out there....IMO, of course. the Duff
Work Christmas party tonight. It was at a country club in the "party room". Behind the bar in the "party room" all they had was JB and MM. It was MM all night which was fine. Went through a door to the "club bar" but they wouldn't serve us because we weren't members and they wouldn't take cash. They had all sorts of goodies back there. ORVW 107 (wich I've been dieing to try), BH, Dickel (don't know which one), MM46, and KC. That's all I can remember anyway. Asked the bartender in the "party room" if he could bring the ORVW over and he said it wouldn't be a problem. After a half hour he told me it wasn't available. Whatever.Good news is we won a new washer and drier!! Also I won our American Idol singing contest and am posting this on our new netbook! So... free steak dinner, washer and drier, netbook, all the MM I could drink.... I did ok.

OscarV
In the Christmas spirit so I decided to get some spirit in me while wrapping Christmas presents. I opened up a bottle of Four Roses 1B LE Jim Rutledge 40th Anniversary 104.6 proof, 13 1/2 year old. It's just what I'll need today because my wife's in-laws are coming over. I like my in-laws, but my wife's in-laws can be trouble.

DeanSheen
A 50ml sample of OWA 8/107 single barrel selection from Loch n Key courtesy of Santa Oscar. Thanks Santa! You read that right, 8 years old. This is really good juice. It's been a few months since I finished off my barrel #39 and #40 from McScrooges but I'm sure I like this one better.
