Opened my just acquired Pappy Van Winkle 20 year. Popped my cherry in chat with some good peeps.

I'm hooked.

Had some Old Forester Signature last night - my first time trying it. Pretty good stuff in the under $20 range!

Enjoyed my first... second.. and third taste of 1792 Ridgemont Reserve. For $25 I was pleasantly surprised. Will be going back to it to break up my premium pours.

Still waiting on KC 120 in CT...

Doing a vertical tasting of OF Birthday. 2008-2009-2010.

I would rank them as 2010 first, 2008 second, and the 2009 a distant third.

Still waiting on the KC SB 120 here in central IL as well.

If you are liking that one, Chuck, you should try the 101 proof version !!!!

Since I drained the American Spirit, I switched up to the 2008 Eagle Rare 17 .......

Because of the snowstorm, I went in early today. Got off early too. When I pulled up to the house about 2:00, I was happy to see that my wife had shoveled the driveway during her lunch hour, (round 3) so I came in and had a pour of ND tax stamped Old Taylor. After seeing Chuck's picture, and Scott's post, I'm having a pour of WT RR 10/101. After supper, I'll probably be out shoveling again. Hmmmmm. Might have to reach for an even higher proof bottling after that. Joe

I don't have any RR 101 so I'll toast with some ER 101

It's contagious. Just poured me some RR 10/101. Waiting to hopefully burrow through the avalanche tomorrow. Don't sound good with expected 6 foot drifts and the worst coming after midnight. At least I'm home.

Scott, What DSP on the JW Dant? I think this would still be coming from the distillery in Gethsemane.

The snow is really coming down along with the ice and sleet. I moved on from the OF Birthday to ORVW 10/107, then RHF, & now BT. I think I'll wrap up the night with a WLW. Then again, work has already been cancelled for tomorrow so we will see how we feel after Mr. Weller.

Opened one of the two bottles of Buffalo Trace that were delivered Monday. It is hitting the spot tonight as the snow blows in 40 mph wind in southeast New Mexico.

Baker's tonight. Probably my least favorite bottle open right now, everything seems muted. I've tried it neat, with a splash of water, and on ice and nothing seems to improve it.

Oh well there is always tomorrow night.

@ Scott

Hope to pickup a 750ml of the Russell's Reserve 101 today! I was going to finish this one before, but I don't think I'll wait now.

"Damn......peer pressure" :)
