Cults? Nooo, nothing like that around here, uh-huh (Squire types one handed while sitting on crossed fingers).

Does the spring allocation include bottles of VWFRR, too?

Thanks for the heads up. I've only got one bottle right now, which is quickly fading. Now I've got the full allotment reserved at my local shop (she expected 5-6 bottles).

I've got a good stock of 15, but may still pick up a bottle or two in case it takes a long while to release them again. It's not my favorite pour, but it seems to be my second favorite. Not sure how Van Winkle does it, but the barrels must be laced with crack, because I'm even carrying around their products wherever I go suddenly, and I've never been fond of carrying my own liquor. Takes away too much room from my gun.

Howdy All:

I hope you are well.

sounds like it is time to head down to my local store and see if they can get me some. I wonder if I can call Michigan liquor control and find out where they are going?

Best regards, tony

From what I hear MI will get some in March, most likely the second week.

I'm looking for cases, not bottles...

You and I think alike... I stumbled into a store yesterday that had 3 bottles of PVW15. Felt darn lucky to snag them. About an hour later I popped into another store that had 2 PVW20 tagged $82.99. They have a new home as well. Woohoo...

Only if it numbs the holes I leave in them, but i'm not big on sharing with strangers.

So self defense because murder would not be funny.

A Darwin Award Candidate:

The following mind-boggling attempt at a crime spree in Seattle, Washington appeared to be the robber's first (and last), due to his lack of a previous record of violence, and his terminally stupid choices:

1. His target was H&J Leather & Firearms, A gun shop specializing in handguns.

2. The shop was full of customers - firearms customers.

3. To enter the shop, the robber had to step around a marked police patrol car parked at the front door.

4. A uniformed officer was standing at the counter, having coffee before work.

5. Upon seeing the officer, the would-be robber announced a hold-up, and fired a few wild shots from a .22 target pistol. The officer and a clerk promptly returned fire, the police officer with a 9mm Glock 17, the clerk with a .50 Desert Eagle, assisted by several customers who also drew their guns, several of whom also fired, The robber was

pronounced dead at the scene by Paramedics. Crime scene investigators located 47 expended cartridge cases in the shop. The subsequent autopsy revealed 23 gunshot wounds. Ballistics identified rounds from 7 different weapons. No one else was hurt in the exchange of fire.

Thank you for the embellished urban legend from 1990 that's not really appropriate for a Van Winkle thread.

No VW products in Ohio. Perhaps I'll see one or two on the shelf elsewhere.

Either way, I'll live if miss out.

Anyone see any shipments yet?

Wondering when it will hit most places.

It seems like here in TN, although we are close to KY, we seem to be a month or so behind others as far as allocations are concerned. There have been numerous times I've read about KY, OH, IL releases and inquired all over town, only to be told they haven't head anything and will check into it. KCSB only hit the shelves here about 2 weeks ago.

I have called a few stores here in Louisville. None have any or can say when they will be getting any VW products. "Should be soon" is about the best I've gotten.

That's strange since they came (and are gone) to No KY a week ago.

Oh noes! I was planning on a road trip to KY to pick some up. Guess I need to start combing Maryland instead.

I've been to all the stores in Lexington and no one has received any and they don't know when it's coming. I have reserved PVW 15's at a couple of stores who said they would hold the bottles and call me when it comes in. I'm following Liquor Barn on facebook. They always post when their shipments arrive. I have a friend there I've asked to put, at least, one PVW 15, PVW 20 and Lot B aside for me when the delivery comes in.
