I should be hearing if the store I normally do business with will have their normal spring allocation. Keeping fingers crossed.

Just out of curiosity, if you had to choose at a liquor store the 15 year or the 20 year without the $30 difference in price being an issue which would you choose.

Members of SB that want to make sure there may be some Van Winkle left for yourself may want to consider communicating through PM. Recent checks of "Who's Online" (I love this option) show this topic seems to be frequented quite a bit by outsiders. Around here, for the last allotment, it disappeared at a frenzied pace that several experienced store owners related they had never seen before. I have no problem with being cliquish within SB when it comes to great whiskey.

Fair enough, though I'm basically just looking for a confirmation that people are actually seeing it in stores. Anyway, I'm going to be driving through KY and TN this weekend and am going to be on the lookout. If anyone here has actually seen any out already and wants to PM me that would be great(I don't expect anyone to tell me where exactly, I just haven't talked to any store that has actually gotten any in from the distributor lately so I feel like I'm still a bit early on my search). If you're looking for it as well you can PM me and if I run across some I can let you know it's out as I will only be in TN for the weekend and after that the area will be back off my radar.

Stopped by Buffalo Trace gift shop today and the last of their allocation was gone. The lady working there said the last bottle of 15 walked out the door today.
