Started with WT101, then EWSB 2000, now PHC 10yr. We'll see where we go from there.

Why not? It's Saturday night and still damn cold here and what better than a wheatathon: Rebel Yell-1981, Old Fitz BIB-1983, Weller 12-Binny's, VW-Lot B, PVW-15, PHC-124.2 and ending up with ORVW-107. As the advertising slogan says, "priceless".

The ten year is 86 proof which is 43% alcohol and this bottle is part of the most recent stock at my local retailer. The label clearly states "Aged 10 Years" but not much else.

The eight year is 40% and the 12 year is 45%.

Early Times 354, just a taste, not enough for full tasting notes, the nose is a bit lighter than I would have thought but the texture is fuller and the taste richer than I expected.

And why not?

last night was several pours of OGD 114. Usually I take this neat or with just a splash of water, but last night I added a lot of water, to around 80 proof. Amazing how well this stuff stands up to water.

I do like the way you think, Oscar.

I have to report for jury duty in the morning. Tonight I need to drink something that'll put a hang 'em high glint in my eye tomorrow. Something to scare the defense attorney.

Any recommendations?

I can see it now, Stagg in a paper bag. Be sure to mumble to yourself a lot too...

Nothing to mumble about this afternoon, about to put a short-rib/onion/beer stew in the oven and sipping on WTRR 101 while the baby blows raspberries at me. Life is good!

I do that anyway.

It won't be if the house blows up. Always maintain a safe distance between the oven and raspberry-blowing-babies.
