MarkEdwards
Technically not a bourbon, but came home to a surprise birthday party after dinner and this was my cake.In the future, I shall have to inspect any bottles of Pappy much more closely to be sure I get the right stuff. As for everyone else, let them drink cake! :grin:Pappy birthday!

B1bomber
Stumbled upon two Staggs over the weekend. Nabbed em, of course. $79 each, not too bad. Also came across my first Angel's Envy, at $50. Couldn't resist (nice job by their marketing folks, the packaging is quite nice), but wish I had. At that price, I expected more. Decent taste but hardly robust. Not much on the nose, and even less on the finish. Not a terrible bourbon, but far from great. My advice would be to pass on this one. At $25/bottle, maybe. At $50 no way. All just IMO of course. boneuphtoner
Picked up a couple of bottles of Rittenhouse BIB rye, the first time ever for me. I really really like it so far. Overall, as good as Baby Saz in my book, although quite different.
beerfactory
Bought a bottle of 4R Yellow Label last night. Was out of town and can't buy this locally. Bit of spring fever to tell the truth. I'll probably put this one in the cabinet until summer.
luther.r
Picked up 2 bottles of PHC Wheater on my trip to Minneapolis over the weekend. :toast:I passed up several bottles of Baby Saz, but I only had a 2-bottle carrier for my suitcase.

jcg9779
Wished i could find this in ATL. Too little too late i guess in my area.Yeah...these went pretty quick around here. I found a couple of the PHC Cask Strength (first release) in a store last year, and it was a store that I visit often. They must have found a few bottles in the back and put them out because they definitely weren't there the 15 previous times that I had been. Just shows that you need to keep your eyes open...you never know what will pop up.

Bmac
Just picked up E.H Taylor (recent release). It doesn't say anything about a "tornado" so I imagine it's just a standard release.
p_elliott
Just picked up E.H Taylor (recent release). It doesn't say anything about a "tornado" so I imagine it's just a standard release. It will either say Old Fashion Sour Mash (1st release), or Single Barrel (2nd release) or Warehouse C Tornado Surviving ( 3rd and and current release) near the top of the tube or bottle if they took it out of the tube. There is no standard release E H Taylor there is Old Taylor and it's crap unless it's a ND dusty.

p_elliott
If it's the single barrel it the the second release. Distributors are notorious for holding things back liquor stores get BTAC and Pappy 6 months after their release.
