Not yet, but I will in the near future and let y'all know what I think IMHO.

Humm... I suspect some experimentation will be in order.

CnB ETL #3, the last pour of a fine bottle. Day 6 of the countdown to getting married, each day I cross another task off of the to do list and celebrate with a unique pour.

Rebel Yell 90pr from 1978...good god is this a killer pour. I can't believe that this was a mid/bottom shelf bourbon! This one has one of the thickest maple noses that I've ever smelled on a bourbon. There is amazing depth to this as it starts off sweet and moves on to dark fruits and finishes with some nuts. I'm gonna be sad when this bourbon glass is empty! :(

Best wishes to you in the big upcoming day!!

Today marks me and the misses 9th. Hard to believe how the time has flown by.

Thinking some Stagg 09 is going in the glass tonight. Last two nights it has been BTEC 91. A classic. Sad that there was just so little of it.

Congratulations on 9 years . I'm milking my BTEC '91 as much as possible, but it is in the plans for a pour sometime during the countdown.

I'm pretty sure I'll be trying the Angel's Envy tonight. We'll see what path I go down from there.

Started with a bit of the CEHT Tornado and finished with the OWA 107. But maybe one more of the Tornado....

Taylor Tornado tonight, really hitting the spot. Sweet up front, spice builds throughout, nice finish.

Old Charter '83 - butterscotch with a dry oak that keeps it interesting

4R gift shop barrel #5 - I think it's dying in the bottle; need to finish quickly!

WLW 2011 - cinnamon and syrup when first opened, now creme brulee and vanilla bean in the finish

TPS Willett 9 year - opened up since I opened it up: a bit more cinnamon and brown sugar, a sorely needed balance to the Ezra Brooks profile it had at first

Neck deep in work so I thought I'd just drink the first bottles I saw in my closet...

Is this not an official countdown night? Or it the Tornado that good? I haven't had the pleasure yet to try it.

Both. I started two weeks out, now we are one week away. We leave Monday afternoon for Macon, by Wednesday afternoon we'll be in Savannah, wedding Friday, Saturday and Sunday on Tybee, head home Monday.

The tornado is the only one of new Taylors that I've had. It grows on me a bit more with each pour.

Had a friend in from out of town, who some of you may recognize, for a little BBQ and libations. After a very successful day of dusty hunting in DC we enjoyed a few of the spoils...

1986 Old Fitz BIB Handle

1993 Old Fitz BIB 375ml

1990 ND OGD 86 pf Gift Boxes

1985 Old Fitz Prime (Color is quite dark on these)

1984 Old Crow 80 pf

1985 Benchmark 86 pf

2002 WSR

The Benchmark was amazing.... and so often overlooked.

At some point we decided we needed to do a Willett tasting ..... not sure if that was the best idea of the night :)
