I figured something a little special was in order tonight so i am having a pour of pappy 23yr. After having three girls my wife and I had a boy earlier today.

Congratulations! Both on you newborn son... And being able to afford a Pappy 23 with three daughters running around. :toast:

I had an extremely long and busy day at work today. So, I'm having a couple of hefty pours from an old tax stamped Old Taylor. Ahhhhhhhhh....:yum: Great nightcap.

A rare offensive outburst by the NJ Devils in the 3rd Period has me celebrating the victory with some WTRB.

Enjoying my first pour of Weller 12 right now. Not as good as some of the OWA single barrels that I've had, but very tasty.

Enjoyed some TPS FR1B (regular) last night at a friend's birthday celebration amidst copious amounts of bubbly and even some tequila.

TPS FR1B OESK for me tonight. Enjoyed it but not lived it tonight. I may have to come back again. This one seems to be going down the hill the longer it is opened. I guess I will have to finish it soon !

OWA NAS after another long day at work. The last time I had a pour of this, it tasted just so-so. It's really hitting the spot today though. :yum:

Storm damage??? If so, that sucks. Drink up.

Damage from lightning, ice storm, drought, flood, and termites over the past few years really adds up. They took out 21 trees, all over a foot in diameter, mainly pines and a few sweet gum and tulip poplars. Two days of crane work. At least I won't be worrying about the house during a storm any more.

Ok! I am a Turf Guy and the first lesson from our professor at UGA was: "If you want to maintain a good stand of turfgrass, buy a chainsaw and remove any trees within 3 miles." Of course that is not agronomically sound (ok, agronomically sound but affects playability), but effective. But the trees you removed are on my list for automatic removal! Especially sweetgums!!!

Now back on topic, pour of BT and finishing with a nice pour of Balcones True Blue!

Was that a publicly available selection?

It certainly can't be JV Liquors anymore...
