Is that TPS OWA SB? I was enjoying some myself last night. I picked some up in May at the behest of one of the clerks, and after a couple of months of air, it's one of the best bourbons I've ever had. Especially in terms of value.

Chaining bottles of WLW together. Finishing a 2010 while starting a 2012. Good for comparison sake.

Bill, we're thinking alike tonight. I might keep it in the family and move on to some Blanton's later, but the AAA 10 yr is doing just fine right now.

I've been having a great whiskey day.

Finished off bottle of Lot B.

Had a pour of V23 rye

Finished a bottle of V17

Now enjoying a 21 year Willet

Next I may open a PVW15.

That TA&M v. 'Bama game had my heart rate up, and I don't even care about either team.

Last night I found an older bottle of OWA 107. This one had a neck label with an age statement of 7 years. The label said "distilled in Frankfort, Kentucky" so I am assuming this is a bottle from BT before they changed the label? I have had some of the newer bottles before and while I have liked them, I remember thinking that the high proof and oak were a bit unbalanced with the sweetness. However, this particular bottle was so good. I mean really, really good. I did a head to head against my recent ORVW 10/107 purchase and it was every bit it's equal.

Going to go back to the store I found them at and snatch up the remaining two bottles they had.

I think I'll have a little Lot B this morning. It just seems right today.

Attaboy, Will. Start your day off on the right foot. I think it was Frank Sinatra would said (and I'm paraphrasing): "I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day."

Started with WT101Rye at about 10:00, but have now moved onto some early 70's Early Times Bourbon for lunch. Yum. And my hangover is gone.

I've been thru a few today.

But I think I should point out the Evan Willaims BIB White Label,.... chug-a-lug.

Good for you, Bro. This store that had old OWA, did they have other dusties? Do you have any excuse to sing "O, Lord, I'm stuck in Novi again"?

More like "O, Lord, I'm stuck in the land of strip malls again"
