peterlake
Is that TPS OWA SB? I was enjoying some myself last night. I picked some up in May at the behest of one of the clerks, and after a couple of months of air, it's one of the best bourbons I've ever had. Especially in terms of value. Crowes
Last night I found an older bottle of OWA 107. This one had a neck label with an age statement of 7 years. The label said "distilled in Frankfort, Kentucky" so I am assuming this is a bottle from BT before they changed the label? I have had some of the newer bottles before and while I have liked them, I remember thinking that the high proof and oak were a bit unbalanced with the sweetness. However, this particular bottle was so good. I mean really, really good. I did a head to head against my recent ORVW 10/107 purchase and it was every bit it's equal.Going to go back to the store I found them at and snatch up the remaining two bottles they had. I think it was Frank Sinatra would said (and I'm paraphrasing): "I feel sorry for people who don't drink. Crowes
Good for you, Bro. This store that had old OWA, did they have other dusties? Do you have any excuse to sing "O, Lord, I'm stuck in Novi again"?More like "O, Lord, I'm stuck in the land of strip malls again"
