I didn't buy it today (I bought it on 12/24), but I got another GTS. Seems as though the state stores came through for the most part. I put in orders at 4 stores and ended up with 2 GTS, 1 WLW, 2 VWSR Lot B, and an offer for another Lot B that I turned down (I already have 4 bottles, and although I like it I don't like it that much at $55 a bottle). Things I ordered that I didn't get were an additional WLW and some PVW 20. According to one of my local stores the PVW 20 was very scarce in VA this year. They were pushing the JPS 18 as an alternative (as do many other stores).

Thanks! 131.6. In fact, it looks like one of the first ones that was recalled with a new label put on the front.

WTRB getting back to my roots,I haven't bought one of these in a long time and feel it is slightly under appreciated.I personally find this to be Wild Turkeys strongest showing of current production bottlings.

Snagged the last 2 HW 16 375 ml and found a lonely PHC 10 year wheater on a shelf today. I had to break out my credit card for that one.

Not bourbon but...

I found a BTAC Sazerac 2012 in the wild. I had to go back and tame it. I had a choice of Handy or Sazerac and went Sazerac.

Breckenridge Bourbon.

Good choice. I paid a visit to the distillery back in Oct. Very cool little setup they have going there.

With a VWFRR snugly in my TPS cart, I added half a case of HH BiB 6/100, an OBSV, OBSQ and three TPS FR1Bs. I checked out safely with the VWFRR intact and a case discount to boot! Thanks TPS!

I didn't get the TPS e-mail but thanks to a post on another thread got to the website in time to pickup a lot B. They were out of the rye, 15 and 20 yo. The 23 was too much for my blood. Also grabbed a Weller 12 since they were out the last time I ordered. I know, I know they are pretty much the same thing; shutup, I don't care, we don't get much good stuff out here. Have to grab it when I can.

Got the TPS email and caved. Grabbed ORWV 10/107, but it really was an excuse to also grab another Bowman #45 and 4R TPS SB

Ok, techincally it isn't a bourbon (since it was aged in used oak instead of new) but I picked up a bottle of that Hirsch Selections 20 YO American Whiskey. It was marked down a good bit so I figured why not.

Yesterday evening I picked up a bottle of Russel's Reserve and a bottle of Basil Hayden. Both very good, IMO.

I was up there around the same time. Luckily for me, because I'm in Colorado, the larger shops tend to put this and Stranahan's on sale frequently. To me, it's not a bad buy at $32.99.

It's worth noting that the whiskey in the bottles available now was likely not distilled in Breckenridge. I do have to say that the one time I've tried it, it did strike me as a good bourbon that is probably worth the $35 it costs in Colorado.

A couple weeks ago I asked a retailer to stock Old Fitz BIB. Guess what appeared on shelf for $15.49? VSOF. Distributor and/or retailer must have mistaken it for Prime, 1849 or maybe even 750 BIB. Picked up a couple bottles.

I'm thinking I should tell him: might foster a nice relationship.
