Drained my first 1792 Ridgemont Reserve last night. Picked it up as it was BOTM in Sept., and enjoyed it. May buy another sometime, especially if I catch it on sale. Looking forward to trying something new, soon, Joe. (Never turned up a Henry McKenna Single Barrel BIB for this month.)[h=2][/h]

Polished off a PHC Golden last night. I thought it was really good but to be perfectly honest I don't think it was worth what I paid for it (-$60 off retail). In addition I don't even want to say what I was offered for it because I should have taken some SB'ers up on their offers. That being said, it was a unique bourbon and I am glad I tried it.

Emptied a Jefferson's Reserve last night. It was good after being open for a long time. It really helped this bottle.

V17 done and dusted. When first opened it was all apple strudel and honey bun. A Sunday trip to the bakery. The last few pours were all barrel and cinnamon. Anyone else experience this dichotomy?
