It would appear Batch 7 has drifted into Georgia. And then drifted home with me.

At least it is pre-chilled today so no ice is necessary...

Very Nice! Hopefully it makes it's way to UT.

Wish I could say the same. Was off work today and while running errands hit 5 stores near me and none admitted to having seen an of it yet.

If there was any left where you were, please let me know....

I found three bottles of batch 7 on the shelf in Virginia on Thursday. One of them came home with me. On Friday I went back and picked up the other two.

Thanks fellas for the heads up to look out for this one. Never tried it before. Total Wine had it and I grabbed 2! If anyone in the Dallas area is wondering, there were maybe 3-4 more bottles at the Plano East location(Collin Creek) as of tonight. $37!!

That's batch #6. And $37? Man, $57 plus 20% tax here...I still haven't finished my batch 5, and I've got a #6...probably won't see #7 here for months...

PPFFFFFTTTTTTT $37?!?!?! You owe me a new keyboard after I spit out my drink on it in shock!

I got a bottle 2-3 weeks ago by dumb luck and was smiling out the door paying $55. Another store in town put bottles out at $99.99 and I almost choked in shock. At $37, good lord! I'd grab everything they had and ask if they had any cases in the back!

That's the normal price and that's why I haven't seen it on shelves around here since the end of 2013.

Yes. Yes you should. Soon, even. Try it neat but don't be afraid to add water to tame it slightly.

And by soon i mean tonight [emoji2]

Smart. Try before you buy. I don't understand why anyone would clear the shelves of something they haven't tried unless they aren't buying it to drink.

Edit: Yes, definitely try it ASAP. If you like it you may not see it on the shelf again.

$37 is an absolute killer price for that one. Definitely try that one STAT and figure out if you like it. I have a well stocked bunker of ECBP at this point so I let them slide now at our normal price of $57. If I saw them a $37, a few more would be coming home with me. I like it that much.

Saw one the other day in Louisville for 69.99. Passed. Not sure how I feel about my decision.

Check it out anyways, it surprised the shit out of me, Batch 6 at least.

I start looking for it 2 weeks after you Atlanta bourbon lovers get it and sure enough there it is. I think they truck it up here by mule train.

In a bit of a predicament lately with my palate getting worn out. All my regulars aren't tasting quite the same. Seems unfair to judge anything new at the moment. I found some Weller 12 and picked up just one bottle and it's just okay right now.

Popped open that ECBP and it's like this damn drank just powers through! lol. Loads better than the Weller 12. I know different proofs, wheated, etc accounted for.

Right now I just can't tell if I'd miss it if I won't be able to get it anymore.

I'll be sad if my tastebuds get back in gear only after the shelves are cleared!

Ugh, went to the local store in search of a bottle and they said its allocated and they haven't had any since October. It was listed at $50 which I didn't think was bad

This pic from a couple of days ago, been drinking the latest 128 proof one. Right now, I haven't had the wow moment and I love the ECBP. Need to spend more time here. Wondering what other had found.

Still like it.

TunnelTiger, I can't remember if you are a Four Roses cultist or not, but I have a bottle of 11 year old OBSF right now that is 64% and is scratching my ECBP itch (I only had two bottles of the original release and haven't seen anymore). Usually Four Roses barrel proofers are too smooth and floral to hit me in that same roasted-cherry/bitter chocolate zone but enough age and proof and BAM there it is.

Barrel to barrel variation is obviously big but if you see something similar to what I mentioned it'd be worth grabbing as substitute as ECBP is real hard to find for me.
