PhotoDan
We get a limited number of these in VA, $49 for 750, have been 7 release so far and I've tried the last 3 or 4, very nice, certainly worth $39 IMO
BourbonGator
It is a tough find in my part of Florida and would love to get my hands on some as long as it is under the $70. Everyone here usually has it closer to $100. If any of you that can get your hands on it would be willing o help me out that would be great. I obviously would return the favor with anything i can get my hands on with ease like Weller 12 and some others to re pay the good deed. Just let me know. DBM
Has anybody done a vertical tasting of all 7? I have all except batch 2, but it seems a tad excessive to have 6 open bottles of ECBP. I need a little more variety. I like them all well enough to not pay much attention to the batch.
amg
Saw a picture yesterday that suggests that batch 8 is out. 139.8 proof this time.

dcbt
Did not know Batch #6 was also going by "Hazmat".I think it's because it's over 140 proof, which is defined as hazardous materials not allowed on airplanes.

signde
picked up a bottle of batch 8 a couple of days ago. 139.8.
mbroo5880i
Fortunately, I had not paid over $42.99 for a bottle. I have had 4 different bottles. However, I think this is a solid buy at $60 or less and a great buy at less than $50.
greens
I can find EC12 all over Houston but I can't find a single bottle of ECBP. One of these days.
Travis D
It's been tough for me to find ECBP at retail in Houston as well. Most of mine have been purchased via online retail or traded for but I've gotten lucky in Houston once or twice. Specs allocates them so I don't think they hit the shelves at most or all locations. On top of that, they must get snatched up quick at other stores...just never seem to be around. Maybe it's just us.

But, it's pretty much this same situation here in the Mitten State as well. The only ones I've bought at retail, 'off the shelf', were the couple bottles of the original release, that I saw being uncased as they had just arrived while was at the store. The few others I've bought have been because I got a call from the retailer before the bottles hit the shelf.
jeffrey r
'Just us' must mean most of the country. I haven't seen ECBP on the shelf in NY/NJ in over a year. Fortunately, I bought a couple of the first couple of batches, so I think I still have two unopened bottles in the bunker. Left some on the shelves though at msrp that I probably should have bought as well.
Travis D
Just lamenting the fact that I don't really see them on the shelf but see plenty posting about finding them in the wild. And sharing a little empathy with greens' post above mine regarding Houston. I imagine that many or most of us don't really have the opportunity to grab ECBP off of a retail shelf, the board is a little bit of its own bubble when it comes 'stumbling' upon (hunting down...) these and other limited releases. KyleCBreese
I'm starting to see this more in NJ lately. I passed on 2 bottles of Batch 7 yesterday at $63.
Scotch Neat
Its luck, see it all over the place for a day or two and then its gone. Problem is usually the store has like three bottles and I never buy it all. Batch 6 Is one of my favorites.
miller542
This just showed up in Utah's inventory again. Can't wait to pick up a bottle and get this back in the rotation.Retail here in Ut has crept up to $50 from 45 and was once as low as 40 on the original release. Hopefully it holds at 50 and doesn't continue to climb.

jackthedog
It tends to hit my area in two waves but the stores get between 1-3 bottles so it goes fast. I've been lucky to do pretty well on tracking it down, but it's been an effort. Only once have I stumbled onto it by luck.
JDSmith619
Snagged a couple batch 8s last night. Price went up $5 to $60 but I still think its one of the best buys right now.
LCWoody
I wish that HH would start doing "Store select single barrels" of the ECBP. A couple of years ago I was in on a EC store select SB 12-year-old and they sent the samples to us in barrel proof, and we had to cut them down to 94 proof (Per the instructions that they sent us). All we could think about was what if we could get a SB barrel proof for the store. HH said no way. I wonder if it is on the horizon.
