Working on a growler of Shewolf tonight. It's a collab between Half Acre here in Chicago and FFF. Falls somewhere between Zombie Dust and Arctic Panzer Wolf with plenty of fresh crystallized piney notes on a clean malt profile.
I worked through a growler of that last week...that beer might be my favorite of all time!

Huma Lupa Licious from Shorts Brewery

A poor man's Hopslam. Half the price, many times the availability, and nearly as good.

New Holland Beerhive Tripel. Way too much honey, just obliterates the base beer. Tastes like a so-so Meade.

471 Small Batch IPA from Breckenridge Brewery. This could be a new favorite, full bodied and not overly hoppy. At 9.2% ABV it could be dangerous since it goes down very easily

New Day Meadery in IN makes some absolutely fantastic stuff.

This. They also have a tasting room in the Fountain Square neighborhood in Indy if any of you are through town.

Ended a 15-hour work day yesterday with a 2013 F-W Parabola BBA Stout. Sublime. Dark chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, dark malts integrated perfectly.

Cracked a GL Chillwave DIPA last night. This is the new Alchemy Hour. It's delicious! As good as AH was last year, I think this may be even better. The huge 9.4% is undetectable amongst juicy tropical hoppiness perfectly complemented by a sweet, light malt backbone. If you see this around, take 'er home.

St. Bernardus Prior 8 (bready, raisins and plums, tasty) and a He'brew Hop Manna (hoppy, kinda flat, boring) tonight while watching the Cats sucks it up.

Green Bush-Brother Benjamin,Stochasticity Project-Stone and and Aracadia Barrel Aged Shipwreck Porter which I thoroughly enjoyed despite a pretty ridiculous price point!
