Eskwar
Knocked off a pair of BT Mashbill #2 siblings last night. I much preferred the ETL (from late 2013) to the HPR (no date to be found on the bottle, though the box and labeling would make it pre-2009, perhaps). Great color and nose on the HPR, but the taste was way too mild and mellow. Nice packaging on the HPR, though...I guess my daughter could use it as a Barbie tanning bed or coffin, so it's not a total loss.
Paddy
Polished off a standard BT this week. Figured why not, since it's currently on sale a a local and I can keep the bunker adequately stocked.
Eskwar
Continuing the end-of-summer purge. AB Gingerbread Beer Finished. Distilled 4/21/06, Bottled 8/14/13, Emptied 8/15/14. (Also, I've been going through my CDs alphabetically, so these tunes were yesterday's accompaniment.)

amg
Poured the last of a FRSmB. This is really an incredible whiskey for the price.
IowaJeff
I finished off my last bottle of PVW15 (probably ever), AAA10, Rittenhouse Rye, and Old Scout 14 in the last week. Sad to see them go, but excited to have some open space in the liquor cabinet!

Mardbrown
In last two weeks, I have finished bottles of Evan Williams SB 2003, Larceny (cant believe I got that for $14), and Rittenhouse Rye BIB. I'd buy all three of them again.
garbanzobean
Killed the last of my bottles of WLW2013 and THH2012 while catching up with an old friend. Of note is that while I preferred the WLW, roughly 5/6 friends who tried both of these bottles strongly preferred the THH. I really came to like it in the end, too. Old Dusty
Last night was one of those sad, but joyful nights.....I said goodbye to a bottle of Dougdog's Black Ink rye.Bittersweet for sure. But as a wise man said-it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. And your empty now gives the same tasting experience as all of the unopened "Collectables" sitting on people's back bars. But you have the benefit of having enjoyed every drop. 393foureyedfox
WTRB went out in a blaze of glory, as it turned two newb's in its final breath.that last 112 WTRB i had, I shared with friends, and turned them into RB fans as well. I think the 112 is much better than the 108. Id like to know if there were any changes to it than just a proof adjustment, as I doubt many people will notice a difference in 108 and 112 proof.
