The Advantage
Finished a EC21 and a Lock Stock Rye this week, been milking them since the winter at apparently a very similar rate.
jwilson82
Finished a bottle of EC12 clear some cabinet space to appease the wife. Nothing special, I know, but it was the bottle that got my fledgeling bourbon journey started.
tigerlam92
Fantastic for 2013! ORVW 10/107 This is the only year that I really like this. Will have another open shortly to have it in my bar.

Old Dusty
Not a top example of their barrel selections, but eminently drinkable and the high proof works great on a big cube. Luckily purchased prior to the big price jump.

KyleCBreese
Finished off a CEHT SmB. Oddly enough, I've seen more of the Single Barrel than the Small Batch around lately.
dcam1075
Finished off a CEHT SmB. Oddly enough, I've seen more of the Single Barrel than the Small Batch around lately. We have had a fairy large dump of CEHT single barrel in Maryland. Prices overall have gone up too with this latest influx. I have seen anywhere from $65 to $85 a bottle in multiple stores around Baltimore. I remember seeing empty shelf stickers for $55-$60 and when the bottles actually showed up they changed to $65-$70.

Thig
Lesson learnedNow you have me wanting to open mine just to see how bad it is, I sprung for the Classic and Straight Malt several months ago before reading the reviews.
TunnelTiger
Now you have me wanting to open mine just to see how bad it is, I sprung for the Classic and Straight Malt several months ago before reading the reviews.I hope it's not true but most of the reviews (reading them way too late) claim the Straight is worse than the Classic. I've got to believe that it's not true because calling the Classic swill in it's worse form is being too kind.
KyleCBreese
Finished off a 12 year, 2 month 4R OESV. Unfortunately, the store has no more of this private selection remaining.

Is that an NDP bottling? The cap looks weird for some reason.

They aren't great bottles, especially given the price, but I would have been happy to take that bottle off your hands and save it from the drain. To me it was better than that fate. Has to be pretty bad for me not to find some kind of use for it, even if it's a cocktail of some kind.
Auracom
Good enough in my book. Is that an NDP bottling? The cap looks weird for some reason.Don't think so... just the current juice. I haven't had any dusty OGD but I wouldn't describe this particular bottle as a butterscotch bomb like many people attribute to older OGD. It was actually decently balanced between oak and sweetness with light sawdust, toffee, and underlying baking spices. I just wasn't wow'd (and that's okay for a $20 750ml),

DBM
Last of a JPS18 batch 14. This bottle has been opened for over a year and was at least half empty for most of its opened life. The last pour was really quite amazing, I could detect a sweet, fruity candy scent even when the glass was 6 feet away. Tons of fruit on the nose and a rich, smooth caramel taste with a light, satisfying burn. Kinda sad to see this go, not sure why I didn't reach for it more often.
