Had to go to a client site today and was able to stop by a store I don't get to go into frequently. Lucky me they were having a giant sale. I kid you not, it was like Black Friday in there. Here is what I picked up:

Also found a Twin Liquor dollar sale. Only picked up 3 bottles cause the mrs. was with me and we are on a very tight budget for another month until we both start working again. Picked up a Dickel 9yr store select ($38), a HM BIB ($24), and a Jefferson 10yr Rye to try ($24).

I could get used to prices like this.

Found a few bottles of ECBP batch 5 at a store a few blocks from my office. I walked out after seeing the $75 price tag but ended up going back and grabbing one.

I found my first S-W dusty! Not bourbon though, water. The bottle is from 1983, it was in a clearance section since the store is closing. I had heard about distilleries releasing bottles of their spring water to dilute their whiskey but I hadn't seen a bottle until now. According to this site, the registration for this product lasted from 1967-1989, which fits the bottle date. I don't plan to ever open this (I think bottle water goes stale after a while) but it seems like a neat piece of bourbon history, especially for $3.99.
