I will be honest. If the price dropped to $35, I would probably buy a bottle. It opened at $49.99 here and has stayed the same price.

This is where I come out on Forgiven as well, although it might have to get closer to $30 unless they do a High West and say what ages they are blending.

It must be turning, however - I haven't seen any local retailer discounting it to get it to move.

Could not do the 200.00 for this. Like the bottle and presentation though.

Passed on this today as well. Of course I also had to pass on some more Jeff Ocean and WT Diamond. Stuff seems to be following me around these days.

Pass on ETL for $39.99 at Binny's (isn't that high for ETL?). I've never had it before, but I purchased a bottle of FR OESK instead.

4RSmBLE2014 for 149.00. First I already have one, second, that's too much$$. I am sure someone will buy it though as this market has turned "irrationally exuberant".

$35 seems to be the going rate here for ETL. $39.99 doesn't sound that high to me.

Well I passed on everything today, but the most notables were ETL @ $89.99 and PVW20 for the reasonable price of $1599.99. I misread the label and thought it said $159 originally for the PVW and was ready to purchase when I looked closer and said no thanks. In conversing with the clerk, was told all six in this years collection could be had for $5K! Grabbed two packs of Goose Island Bourbon County and hit the road.

Passed on PH8. Priced at 109. Doesn't make sense when they have FR LE small batch for 89...

Had to call my contact that was holding a WFE 9y for me and told them to set it free, a bit over-extended on the bourbon budget this month. Kind of a first for me to let one go..... it sort of felt good.

$39.99 for ETL is the going price here since it got back on the shelves. My guess is it will increase again the coming year

Saw Weller 12 on the shelf for the first time in a long time. I had to pass at $40 though. I got some from a friend in TX about a month ago for $22 a bottle.

Angel's envy cask strength and HH 6/90 were easy passes but things I had not seen before (going to grab some HH 6 BIB when back in indiana for the holidays). But it was real tough passing on an 8 year FRSB store pick. Just couldn't commit without tasting at almost $50. Saving my FR buying dollar for things I know I love.

Past on a Willett XCF the other day via a email from my local whiskey monger. Not sure of the asking price, but just not interested in this on.

As far as I know it's only Washington getting the HHBIB6, I haven't seen it and it's not on the state registry. But we get the 90 proof six year. Odd. As a big fan of Heaven Hill I'm glad we get lots of their line-but having HHBIB6 would be lovely.

The HHBIB6 is at a few smaller stores, but I've yet to see it at a big box chain. I rather enjoy it and have 4 stashed away.

Why do I think when the restocking begins for the allocated/limited release version of W12 that this will be the new normal?

It was in Indiana that I saw it.
