I knew I shouldn't go into a NCABC store today but did anyway.   Finally decided to buy a bottle of Barrel Bourbon batch 6.  Hope to try it this weekend and will update with my thoughts.

Not a purchase, but I was gifted a JDSB BP.  Right out of the gate, I now know why it was so highly regarded here!  Beautiful presentation, great color, fantastic nose. Oh, and it drinks pretty good too!

Even though I'm on the wagon until tomorrow, today I bought some Russell's Reserve 10-year bourbon.  Looking forward to it!

I stopped off at my favorite local store tonight.  Asked about the EH Taylor Seasoned Wood.  Nope.  Found out he had 3 bottles of Elijah Craig barrel proof a few days ago that I missed.  Bummer.  So I left with a FR Single Barrel.  Always available, always good.

OWA for $26.99, the cheapest outside of Binny's that I have seen it, so I was forced to buy a bottle.

Picked up another ECBP Batch 9. That's 4 in 4 weeks at the same store. I guess it's not very popular around here.

Headed to the store for a bottle I don't normally have around. OE 101...out. WT 101...out. Dang it :(  ...So I grabbed a bottle of AAA 10*. At $24 for the family size, booya!

Managed to grab to handles of true EC12 yesterday on sale. If they have anymore still next week when I stop by again, I might just pick up one or two more. Can never have enough since they won't be making anymore.

If you ever make it down to Atlanta, there's a store with several handles of EC12 with the 12 on the front I know of....

Picked up WSR for $17 at my favorite store. You have to asked for it and few other labels. They got sick of seeing the shelves cleaned out along with their own private selections and then seeing them flipped for multiple times what they originally sold for.

yea man, I always see it for $29 outside of Binny's too!  can't beat Binny's at $23 tho when they do have it in stock...

Yes, really. Until about a month ago the handles with the 12 on front were still pretty common around town. There are still some around but they are beginning to move off  the shelf to be replaced with the NAS. The 750 with the 12 is far less common and I haven't seen one in a while. Then again I haven't looked that much either.

Was out for our weekend grocery shopping yesterday. I'd be remiss in my duties if I didn't at least take a look see in the liquor section. Lo and behold, a slight surprise. There on the shelf was a few bottles of J.T.S. Brown BIB.  :o Till now, I'd only ever seen the 80 proof around my area. For $15.99, it was a no brainer, so I bought one. I reckon I can scratch that off my list for what I was gonna try and find during the Sampler.

This really was a bit of a surprise. Reason being, I was told by a distributor that he'd make sure that store would start carrying EW BIB, and I should see it on the shelves there in a couple of weeks. That was over two years ago, and they still haven't gotten any. FWIW, I finally quit asking. :mellow:

4R OBSK BP store pick on sale (they are getting ready for a new store pick) and a Booker's Noe Secret (green label 2015-6).  Passed on KC on sale.  I have plenty even for me.
