After Cards-Packers yesterday, I am having Larceny - it seems appropriate.

AND, what's with Carolina-Seahawks?  All these games are exciting even though I have no favorite playing.

I can't find that Napolean quote that someone posted recently about how he'd always stop at Moet Chandon on his way home from battle, no matter the outcome, because if victorious, he deserved it, and if defeated, he needed it. Well, after that Seahawks game, I need it. But even if they had pulled out the win, I'd still be in the "need it" column.

WTMK to start the Carolina - Seattle game then OF10 101 in the 2nd half and no Charter 101. Whew!  That was not the Cardiac Cats I'm used to from Carolina but a win is a win!

Speaking of "Amens", Steve, your comment deserves one.  Great finish to a game I thought was over at halftime.  I'm now into the Pittsburgh-Denver game with more Larceny (breaking my rule on NMT two per day - it's a three-day weekend, so . . .) and am amazed that Rothlesberger (yeah, bad spelling; so what??) is doing so well.  "Shoot me up, Coach, I'm ready to play." with apologies to CCR.  And I still have no dog in this fight.  Wonderful snowy afternoon.

I backslid today with a healthy pour of OFBB '15 (you do what you gotta do when it's the last pour and there's a little extra required to finish off the bottle.) Followed with some OWA. Finishing the evening with the under appreciated Baker's.

I've definitely been on the bus for a few weeks.

Not bourbon, however I cracked my 2014 THH last night and it is amazing!  I tried to be as objective in tasting as possible but it really does live up to some hype! It just really fits the flavor profile I like in a rye

Bowman Port Finished.  Such a different animal than the 1792 Port Finished that I have been drinking from recently.  Whereas, the 1792 was full of sweet red fruit and was rather disjointed throughout most of the nose, front and middle, the Bowman is more integrated early, before the Port blossoms at the end in a pleasingly dry manner.  I like the 1792 well enough, but the Bowman seems better executed for my tastes.

Joe, I am also a fan of the Bowman Port Finished.  I have about 1/4 of one bottle left, and then one more in the bunker.  As is usually the case with these limited editions, I regret not buying the other bottle or two I came across of this one, as I think this is a really well done finished bourbon that I always enjoy when I have a pour (and it was pretty reasonably priced at the time, around $60 IIRC).
