Where on earth did you find a W12 around here?  I've been looking for one for more than a year!  Lucky dog . . . . . . . . .  :o

Last fall a few stores in the Boston area got some (Atlas, Rapid come to mind) and I bunkered a few.

Emptied a Larceny with the help of my brother in law yesterday. Only one left in the bunker. Need to find a family size.....that's good stuff.

Funny you should mention this.  When the handles show up, they disappear quickly.  Thank goodness for the 750s.  They stay on the shelves for at least two or three weeks.:D

Polished off another SAOS9SB CS yesterday.  I don't think I have any more of the 9yo's left.  Might have to crack open a 10yo next.

Another ECBP my daily pour. 139.4

This one only lasted 2 weeks.

Plenty more bunkered.

Cheers

Lost two bottles over the weekend. First to go down on Friday was a Jefferson Chef Collaboration from the first run they did. I remember thinking how nice it was when I first got it. It had this fantastic red pepper type bit on the finish that I thought brought out a nice element to the finish. Sadly that yumminess on the finish went away after about 2 week from opening. Bottle sat for a long while after we moved and I finally found it a few weeks back and happy it is gone.

Second to go was my first bottle of HH6BIB that I picked up on a trip back to see family in February. So sad I missed out on this all those years we lived in the state. Good news is I am making up for lost time and have plenty more to replace it with.

Finally killed my stagg jr 128.7 that I have been nursing.  I believe I have 2 others unopened down stairs to choose from.

Killed off the last of my only remaining 750 of MMCS last night.  Well, the last 1/2 pour when into my "Last Pours" decanter.

Stagg Jr. 129.7 batch.

Dare I say I like it more than the 2016 EHTBP?

Finished off my first bottle of WTMK. It seemed to get better and open up more once it got some air. Either way I am glad I have more in the bunker as this bottle did not last as long as I thought it would.

One more ECBP 138.8. I think this one is better than the 139.4 for some reason.

Cheers

Another Barrell Whiskey 001 bit the dust.

Goodness!!  This is the second or third of these you've emptied this month, I think. I really ought to try this.

Finished off a bottle of Early Times 354 this morning. A buddy and I have a little tradition for a post-workout sip or two once a month or so on Saturday mornings at the gym. This bottle had been sitting on my shelf for a while so we finished it off while reading about its introduction and ultimately its demise.

You might have to start a Barrel Bourbon cult. When you do, send out some disciples in white shirts and ties with some samples in their backpacks so I can try it.

I said good bye to a bottle of EC12 yesterday.  I didn't want to see it suffer the ill effects of excessive oxidation.
