Have to turn over six cubic yards of compost tomorrow. Momma said there'd be days like this. Oy......you have a long day ahead of you. Good to hear that Larceny works for you. It doesn't do it for me. Tasted it double blind at the Bourbon Affair and rated it the lowest of the bunch. Good thing is that we can't get it Washington State so I don't need to worry about fretting for the one I can't get. On topic: it's a staples kind of night for me. Basic KC and WTRB. Just excellent pours at a great value. These two make me happy.

Wedelstaedt
Finishing up the evening with two birds: FC103, 6yr and ER PS. Both good in their own way. I expected a good pour with the ER, due to rep, but I was truly surprised by the FC103 6 yr. The FC is a true value pour. Cheers P.S. BOOMER! BFerguson
Haven't seen a JPS 17 pop up in awhile. Good juice The next two were pretty good too. Plus there was a OFBB 16 put in there. I loved the super fruity flavor this this. Lots of cherries. B Sent from my iPhone

whiskeyagonzo
Had some RR SB from some drive thru liquor store in western IL last night. It was damn tasty. I don't want to get my hopes up but it seems WT is producing spirits reminiscent of the 80's.
ccleve23
Cracked into my OFBB 2016 last night. Very impressed by it. Surprised by how little oak there was on this one. It reminded me of the Michters 10 yr bourbon from 2014. Still think the OFBB 2013 was a little better but I am happy to have this one.
Louisiana
Enjoying a little SAOS 7 early evening, but gonna pop the top on one of the big boys tonight! 2015 WLW sounds good to me! My 8 year old did a heck of a job playing in his first year of soccer with a goalie. They won with a strong performance and should continually get better together. A lot of hard work is ahead of us. My 5 year old scored 6 goals and must have his momma's feet, because I was never that quick. Couldn't be more proud of them! Maybe LSU will bring in a good win tonight. Go Tigers! The Rhetoric should show more Oak as Diageo lets it continue to age. I know you prefer aged whiskey a lot! I read where they were letting it age until 25. How do you think the progression has been so far? Between 20, 21, & 22.

Paddy
Although it's my favorite time of the year, I've been dealing with some nagging seasonal allergies. Charlutz
Started with some Pikesville 110, eased up on the spice to have a pour of a very smooth OESV, and now dipping into the Noe Secret for a nice punch in the mouth. Bookers always leaves a lingering tingle on the taste buds. I may even be able to have another pour or two before bed. I love when I have no responsibilities on Sundays. I think all 3 release have been very good. That said the 21y was the best so far, to me. The 22y is sweeter, but the wood is there. I don't think it's been in the barrel to long, yet. Went to the office party last night which had a fiesta theme (meaning wine and sangria and no bourbon) so I had to fend for myself with a flask. Rare Breed was up to the task and I shared with my co-workers. Later that night at home, I capped the evening with some standard KC which has been firmly in the wheelhouse for me lately. whiskeyagonzo
I always look forward to that one. How does it compare to the past couple years? I always look forward to it as well. It has lots of red ripe berries and a subtle spice and a medium to long finish. I'd give it a solid B maybe a B+. It's less oaky for me than last year which is a plus for me anyway. Miles better than 2014 and I'm not even gonna dignify comparing it to 2012 or 2013 [emoji2] Edit: It's better than 2015 for my palate as well. Mainly because I felt 2015 had way too much wood.
