^Fitz you need some of that Ale-8 everyone is talking about.

It's a Kentucky institution.

Enjoyed this one.  It was my 1st purchase of the Antique.  It's no Weller 12, but still really good.

It's weird. W12 is a better whiskey but if I had to pick only one I'd take the Antique. It's more unique and I want to grab the WA107 more than the W12.

I really like them both.  If I had to pick, I would chose the W12, but WA107 is still better than 90% of other bourbon's I have tried.  I have heard the majority of the store pic un-chillfiltered WA107 are exceptionally good.  One of my local stores just picked one and they should be here this fall (hopefully) and I am anxious to try it out.

I'd love to have a WA107 store pick. As abundant as the standard Weller is in Texas store picks are very rare. From what I heard there's only two store picks of WA107 for the whole state. One came out about a month ago at a random store here in the hicks on a Thursday. I showed up the following morning and it was sold out.

Over the years, I've been fortunate to have been able to purchase a number of store picks of not only OWA, but Weller 12 and Weller SR as well. Along the way, another member and I have also been able to taste some PS Weller samples and give our feedback on a couple of those picks. As my signature says. "I've never met a Weller I didn't like." FWIW, I'm patiently waiting for a store pick of Weller SR to arrive as we speak. I have the utmost faith. These folks have picked some amazing BT/Weller barrels over the years. I for one have never been disappointed. ;)

Cheers! Joe

Joe would love to hear your feedback on a PS of Weller SR vs. standard juice once you get it.

What do you think about RY10? Enjoying the last of my first bottle right now.

Last night a Baby Saz hit the bin. Very good rye until the last pour. Most likely my palate was off on the final go around, but still had a weird taste that I have never had with a Rye.

I've never been lucky enough to find a honey barrel. I always seem to to find the very oaky , spicy versions. Still ok though.

I went searching for more of this 2908 barrel after I found out it was so good. Did get a bottle from barrel 2909 hopefully it's as good.

Killed this one tonight.

Hey NDN98, what did you think of that RY10?  I haven't tried it yet, but the opinions on it around here appear a bit divided.

Honestly, I didn't love it.  I thought it was a good bourbon, but at the the $45 price point, there are better bourbons out there.

Thanks for the input, NDN98.  I've seen numerous similar comments around here, with some on the other side.  I'm in no hurry to buy one of these at the going rate.  Maybe I'll find it at a bar somewhere to try for myself.
