I like how clean and crisp it looks.  Neat bar.

Yeah, I'm picking up Clueby here shortly and we'll see you in about 12 hours to help you solve the problem.... ;)

Really nice cabinet.  I love old furniture.

Yea, I have a few open in there, but most of them I'm keeping for later. Just know that I've had multiples of everything in there and have drank all of them.

  • 3 weeks later...

Here's my open bottle line up.  I'm eager to crack a few in the bunker, but the "open cabinet" is full....need to focus my efforts.

It's hilarious to scroll through the first few pages of this thread from '09 and '10.  The amount of BTAC, VW products, WFE etc is just amazing.  All of that stuff borders on unobtainable these days.  I wonder if anyone on SB is still sitting on bunkers like those that started this thread off.

Yeah, I'm sure some of those bottles are still hiding around the Bourbon-sphere; but I hope by now, much of it has been poured and shared for the interesting and enjoyable distillates that were contained therein.

Not as insane as some of the past shots, but the classics are well represented.

It does take a while to drink through.

Apreciate the compliments guys. It the result of a lot of off the shelf purchasing during the end of some golden years of readily available product.

Yes, really, off the shelf.....

Mind blown......

If only all of us had this kind of foresight. Back in the mid 2000s I was busy buying Teacher's Scotch and Canadian Club.

Some awesome bottles like that old Weller and Vintage 17 that I'll never end up drinking. Heck I don't see myself getting my hands on Pappy until 10 years from now and it'll likely be nothing like what you have in those bottles.

Enjoy!

Nice B, it makes my head hurt when I think of all the great bourbon I left on the shelf thinking I would go back and get it later.

Since nobody has mentioned the Rathskeller and age stated BMH, I will.

Great, great bunker there.
