Now having some BCBS waiting for that last hour to finish while my mouth waters. Tossed a couple pork steaks on for the last couple hours for good measure. Great minds think alike. I'm having a '17 KBS with a '16 BCS on deck.

I'm about to go back to KBS if for no other reason than its only 12oz and probably couldn't finish another BCBS. I might not be able to finish a KBS! At least the Q is soaking up a bit. Ribs turned out amazing. Probably my best ones yet.

Did not know Deschutes made it that far out there. They are one of my favorite breweries and the Jubleale is a yearly favorite.

It’s another good one!

Was hoping to find the Weihenstephaner, but no dice, so Paulaner subbed in. The Paulaner Octoberfest is nice. Bought a case and a half.

Yea that was my first time trying it, and I went back for more (several times actually). It seemed less malty to me, which I guess makes it more traditional than Oktoberfesty, but quite delicious nonetheless.

I miss it but thankfully have found many great substitutes out here.
flahute
Some 10 Barrel Brewing Pray For Snow in an appropriate glass. Haven't had this one in a while. It's a tad maltier than I like but still quite enjoyable.

flahute
Rooftop Brewing's Up On The Rooftop Spiced Honey Holiday Ale. Don't like this one as much as the others. It's not well balanced per my tastes as I think the ale isn't strong enough to stand up to the honey and spices. It's too sweet. Edited November 16, 2020 by flahute forgot the photo! flahute
Wasn't liking the Rooftop so I moved on to Double Mountain Fa La La La La. This is a brewery out of Hood River OR that I discovered last year while visiting at Thanksgiving. They make a lot of stuff that I like. This is one is not spiced like many of the ones I really like but it's a great hearty winter IPA style.
smokinjoe
Fall and all has got me in the mood. Smelled some burning leaves, so got me a hankerin’ for a Rauchbier. Nice to end this day.
smokinjoe
Let’s get the weekend started. Firing up the outdoor fireplace and chillin’ with a Creature Comforts Hazy DIPA. First time having it, and very nice. Usually tough for me to get through an entire 16 oz of this style, but this went down with ease.

Clueby
Black Friday shopping is done. Now to decide what to try tonight. I'm leaning towards Fog just because it sounds so unique.

Clueby
Tried the Ky Fog last night. Its....weird. I think it needs MORE tea flavoring to actually work. Trying the 20 OG tonight. Its solid and familiar. Boozy nose. It's a tad bit light feeling and almost effervescent right out of the bottle. Hoping that fades out and I get a bit more chewiness as it sits a bit. Bought a bunch or reg, Prop, W12 and OFBB. Only had the regular so far this year. A friend said the prop is great.
Galvin0791
Last weekend we brought my wife's youngest home from college in Kansas. Saw this in a bottle shop and had to grab it. It's drinkable, but nothing to write home about. I'm just glad it doesn't taste the way this year has turned out.
scratchline
Stumbled across a couple of cans of this right before Thanksgiving. It lives up to the hype, I think. Anyway I'm thankful to be drinking it. It reminds me of a gentler Pliny. Has a deep lasting West coast bitterness.
