Picked up two more bottles of ER for the wife stash. Stopped by a store that is way out of the way due to having to work late, and saw them sitting on the shelf for $29.99 each.  Gotta keep the wife happy.

Although I have to wait several days to pick up the special order, last night I bought six (6) 750s of OGD BIB @ $19 each.  That's about $1 per cheaper than I've seen in a couple of years and $3 per less than I usually pay.  For example, I have some orange screwcaps in the bunker with $19.95 stickers on them.  It may not be a saving I can live/drink on for very long, but "It's the principle of the thing."

Or so I'm telling myself.  I'd have bought more, but space is at a premium.

I’m calling BS on this, Harry! I’ve watched you for years, and your imagination for finding space for extra bottles of bourbon at anytime and anywhere is beyond compare.  :D

Stopped by a LS for a 1.75L bottle of WT 101, one of my always-got-to-have-a bottle-around bourbons. Even though the handle is no longer there, the $34 price was worth making a small detour on the way home.

Baby ER10 at a rural Connecticut LS that serviced an apartment complex. Place was dripping with older Old Ezra 7 101 and Henry McKenna 10 bottles, which have all but disappeared back home.

No nice picture but did pick up a Sweet Wheat today that was overpriced. I missed them last year and haven't tasted this one yet. I told my buddy I wouldn't open it until he was able to come by and enjoy a blind flight of wheaters with me. I'm thinking we set up the 1792 with W12, RY10 and one of the older OFitz BIBs. Man, my mouths watering just thinking about it.

Was only planning to buy a few bottles of wine from a local LS, but when I saw this I couldn't resist.  A store pick WTKS in the turkey bottle for $39.99.  Perhaps they are clearing out old stock?  In any event, I haven't had any WTKS in several years and am looking forward to reacquainting myself with it.  I don't have any previous experience with store picks from this LS, so I hope this is from a good barrel.  We'll see -- gobble, gobble!

The RR SiB are from warehouses K, H, F, and Camp Nelson F. I'm very excited about them all, but mostly K and CNF. The JDSiBBP is a store pick. The last bottle I had (not a store pick) was fantastic, so I have high hopes for this one.

The EHT SmB is for a fellow friend that loves mashbill no 1

I just picked up 2 of these 4. Decided to go with the Old Ezra over the Rebel Yell. Also brought home the RHF. I was kicking myself for not grabbing the RY10 as well.

Grabbed a bottle of CEHT Small Batch to fill out the one remaining spot in my stash cabinet. Now I just need to work on emptying some bottles to make room for any future purchases.

Store pick or not, great value for a premium pour. Won’t disappoint. Well done.

I will report back once we do this. If I can assemble a group of qualified bourbon nerds what do you think the order of preference will be? I've got my choice of rathers but only the blind will tell?

How old is the Old Fitz? I think they’ll be closer that you suspect, I guess is RY10, W12, Sweet Wheat and Old Fitz last. No idea though.

JUST TO BE CLEAR!! I am currently emptying a 20YO compost bin and spreading the compost/dirt in it throughout the backyard  garden and then ditching the bin as per instructions FROM ABOVE.  Making a map to show where "stuff" is buried in the backyard is a TOUGH JOB!  Add in the fact that I have to remember that I'll pick up 6 750s of OGD BIB next week and gotta put them back there really taxes my head.  WHERE I gonna put them?  WHERE I gonna put the MAP?????

So that's why I have oak saplings growing out of all my flower pots.  :D Your squirrels are pretty tame.  The ones here won't let me get within 30 feet of them.

Did some grocery shopping at my local Meijer this morning and stopped in their spirit shop. Happily grabbed a bottle of McKenna BiB ($32.99). The lady working the register told me she had a few bottles but was only putting a single bottle up at a time because this one guy would come in and buy every bottle on the shelf at once and that pissed her off.  LOL!

PIcked up an EC store pick yesterday, and while I was there I noticed a Bowman Port Finish and an OF1910 that came home with me as well.
