I typically enjoy it quite a bit more than the other 3 siblings.

FasterHorses
Is it an illusion or are there wayy more RHFs and ETLs being found in 2019? Lots more stores locally suddenly getting EHTBP also. Maybe a few more W12s as well? Unfortunately Blantons is all but gone. Personally I have seen zero ETLs but in this particular forum it seems the numbers of all these are up from the last year or two. fishnbowljoe
Yet again, I couldn’t resist a bargain. Thanks to a tip from Galvin0791, I grabbed a bottle of Baker’s on the way home from a family cookout at his house July 4th. I admit that I’m not the biggest Beam fan, but I do like Baker’s. With a price tag of $34.99, it was a no brainer. Thanks again Mike. Biba! Uncle Doucé

I picked up a bottle of Bakers yesterday ($50) figuring I better get one before they make the switch.

KyleCBreese
I started to get a little worried about all the talk here of KCSB starting to get younger and more expensive, so I bought 2 more bottles from a 14 year old barrel that I really enjoy for $45 each.

Absolutely delicious Bevmo 14 yr. store pick.

I then noticed the 1792 Single Barrel, so felt compelled to get it too, as a show of support for Barton from their rickhouse collapse. And then, I saw the Four Roses Yellow Label, and figured if I bought it now, that might reverse Karma things, and prevent something bad from happening there... If this works for 24 hours, I’ll go back and get a BT, Maker’s, Rittenhouse, Kentucky Spirit, Old Forester, Dickel, and Daniel’s tomorrow. I feel I owe it to them... My plan has worked for the 24 hours, so I’m going to keep the reverse Karma going. Starting with picking up a Woodford today, since I inadvertently left them off my list.

marshall9779
Picked up a lonely OWA today still at the old price of $22.99. Never seen on the shelf. My county usually only puts out at their Whiskey events. They had one almost a month ago. Not sure if there were leftovers that they spread around the different stores or if they are trickling some out as they come in now.
CUfan99
I’ve been a good boy and stayed away from stores for several weeks, but decided to just look today. Dickel BiB came home with me.

I've been wondering about the RY 100, particularly how it compares to David Nicholson White Label, and like every other (assumed) HH distilled 100 proof Wheater how it compares to dearly departed Old Fitz BIB. Its serviceable, but DN1843 is still better IMO.

As a result they just picked a couple of barrels so will be stocking up as well if the juice is solid. JSpartan
Spent the holiday week down in Kentucky so naturally I came back with a few things I can’t get back in Chicago. Four Roses SBS, Early Times BiB, and HH 6yr Green Label. The ET BIB is quickly becoming one of my favorite daily drinkers @ $22.99 / 1L. I just wish it was easy to find in Illinois. I need to try that ET BIB. The HH 6yr 90 proof is fantastic for the price. Too bad KY is 3 hours away from me.
