Oh wow, @fosmith, what a great place to be drinking some EC! I absolutely love Tomales Bay.

So serene.  And had a great dinner at Nick's Cove.  Delicious oysters and Weller 12 at the bar for $10/2oz. Hard to believe this is less than one hour from SF.

The temperatures have dropped into the 50's at night, so I had to pour myself some Four Roses Single Barrel to ward off the chill. The horror...the horror....

Had a great time in Chicago with the family. Back to the crapstorm today. Re-entry has been tough. Had some ER10 to ease the pain.

A nice little pour of the Weller OWA/12 blend from some time back.  Completely forgot how good it really is (and that I still had some hiding in the back of the cabinet).  Now I'm gonna get depressed realizing how much more this is gonna cost IF OWA and W12 ever return to shelves here...

We left the windows open last night, so it's a little chilly inside the house this evening. This final pour of SJR should help warm me up a bit. This is also a Cards celebratory pour. Game 5 on Wednesday should be fun.

Watched the Nats game an hour delayed last night. What a game. Finished off a very small pour of MMPS and moved to some A119 proofed done to about 120. Left enough to compare to B519.

Starting the night off with something new, (well, a week old new). Not bad at all, but in disappointment it’s not all MGP bourbon. I don’t think I’ll buy another.

Drinking a pour of Bulleit.  It is ok, but the aftertaste is quite bitter.  I don't think I will be buying another bottle of this.  Good news is it is almost gone.

Having a pour of MMCS. I've been on a rye kick the past few months, but the talk the past few days about CS Larceny had me wanting the only CS wheater I have. It's hitting the spot and is a decent accompaniment to some venison jerky I'm gnawing on.

Having a pour of EC 10yr Single Barrel PS, and thinking..."is this worth picking up a second bottle for $35?" It is pretty tasty...

EW BiB for a quiet night.  Twins helped me out by getting swept so I don't have any more games that I have to keep up with.

Now. You got me drooling. Need to shoot another deer so I can make some more jerky. Been 3 years since I’ve shot one. I make using ground though.

Opened my first Uncle Nearest, 1856.  More floaters than I've seen in a while.  But they do taste mighty good.

Yeah... the 50/50 is one of my favorites as well. Thought I was lucky finding a W12 on the LS shelf on Saturday. Grabbed it without even seeing the price... rang up at $75 otd... :(

I’m afraid I’d pass at the price even if it’s new retail.

Today was a pour from my solera bottle.  Mostly a mingling of rye and high-rye bourbons from Heaven Hill, Wild Turkey, and Buffalo Trace.  Mildly sweet with lots of baking spice.  Some heat but is bourbon after all and I like that.  I'm proclaiming myself an excellent blender, at least for my palate.  ?

Day off with the kid as his school was closed. Bike ride to the library and park. A trip to Dave and Busters where he ran around like he was on crack playing video games. Carved a pumpkin, going to now grill some steaks.

Wild Wednesday for me with RR Turkey and some B518 133.4 proof EC. Turkey is great but even though I love the ECBP on paper I’m not much of a fan anymore.

Jflet so sorry, cherish those moments you had together. Probably get another dog, if dogs could talk I’m sure they’d tell you that, maybe save a shelter dog?

Nice pour and very background lighting.

I’m sorry to hear that.  Many of us here have dealt with losing a beloved pet, and it is such a sad time.  There is a thread in the off-topic area (Nikki...) where many have spoken about these wonderful members of our families who we’ve lost.  Hopefully, a nice pour of Blanton’s will help dull the pain for you.
