I didn’t even look.  It was given to them by a rep from what it sounds like.  They didn’t know much about it either.  They thought it might be an upcoming release.  All I know is I wanted to take it home with me. B)

My 500th post deserves a great pour. WTMK Decades. Every time I visit this bottle, my taste buds smile.

Cheers

Blanton's and RHF for lunch with a fellow SB.com mate from the Granite State at my local (kinda') Capital Grill - cost the same as the 1.5 oz pours of WLW and GTS at The Hotel at Auburn University's Piccolo Bar.  Good thing one of my favorite bartenders was pouring - Ronnie is a very generous guy!  But at least we're seeing RHF back for sale and consumption around here again, eh?   ?

Not gonna lie.  If I have less than two back up bottles of OE7 I get uncomfortable.  Hits the spot for me many-o-time.

Work week is over.  I’m trying to decide if it time to retire.  A few more of these and that is an easy decision.

As is my routine...I stopped at a store on the way back home from a late afternoon meeting with one of my suppliers.  It’s been a couple weeks without BT, so a Friday hankerin’ warranted a family size fill up and a pour of the same for me...  ?

First bit of good news on the work front in what seems like forever.  Relaxing with a healthy pour to get the weekend started.  Cheers, all!

Nice looking counter surface.  It goes well with the brown liquid in the glencairn.

Had a decent variety of pours tonight.  A nice Larceny store pick, then EWSB 2006, followed by Blanton's Gold.  Now I'm finishing off the night with a 12 year Knob Creek SiB store pick.  Yes it has been a damn fine evening!

Back to RRSiB, to finish out the evening. A comfort pour, for sure.

I can always count on WTRB, RRSiB & of course WT101 to deliver that comfort feel.

Cheers

WHile at the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids last weekend, they had a Szerac on their bar menu.  Had to try one.  It was a bit different as it was a smoked cocktail but it was very good.

I picked this up last year at James E. Pepper.  They're upfront that it was bottled, but not distilled there.  We tried it, during a private tasting, and everyone agreed that this was the best that they had to offer. A tad pricey, at $105.00, but it's worth it.

Every time I go back to this Larceny Barrel Proof, I continue to be impressed.  Thick and syrupy, and the chocolate notes are to die for.  Pairing well with this MB3, too.
