I picked up one of these as a splurge purchase as well. It is now my official Thanksgiving Day pour. Its different, delicious and a perfect special occasion pour.

Picked up a 375 MMCS Batch 15-05 on sale for $21.99. Never had before so looking forward to trying.

Remus Series One arrived at work today from a friend who got a couple in Indiana. Amaranth was a trade..and the 2015 EHTBPs were recent acquisitions.

It was hard to pull the trigger for $50/pint but had after listening to the community for almost a year I was ready.

I had the same issue with the price, but bought 2 anyway. Damn glad I did, IMO it's excellent whiskey and well worth the $$.

 

If I happen to stumble onto some more of them, it'll be a true test of my bourbon zen :)

Picked up a Woodford Wheat Whiskey yesterday. There was also a wall full of other bottles I wanted, but the prices were not reasonable on them.

I’m going to have to “try before I buy”. Bought one bottle of the regular but never replaced it. Skeptical about this one.

Its running $60-$70 around here.  I am NOT a fan of regular Larceny at all so I'm waiting to try this one before committing to a bottle.
