CardsandBourbon
Tonight was a HHBSBIB night (Heaven Hill Bottom Shelf Bottled In Bond). Started with the JTS Brown BIB, followed that with HH BIB and finished up with EW BIB. They may be bottom shelf in the stores but not in my house.

Got it done in 8 hours but there were 6 of us including a Master Carpenter. This is a Yardistry product from Costco. Very happy with it. Surprisingly Sturdy. Finally got DirecTV out to hook up my outside TV so I watched the race this weekend. Having a bit of Willet Pot Still tonight as we are back home from the RV for a few days. THANKS!! For about 20 years, I've been sketching, designing, thinking, planning, cogitating, ruminating, etc., over adding a 10ft wide by 20 ft long roof over a pontoon boat slip in an existing dock. I almost bought a canvas/plastic/greenhouse-style 1/2 inch aluminum tubular cover. As an alternative to the tubular-plastic sheet roof, THIS might work. Check back in five years to see if I've arisen from thishere chair to decide whether to DO something. ON THREAD -OGD BIB, of course. Why else I be posting about something know only a little about. Two 10X10 Yardistry Pavilion kits would work. Those materials would be marginally more expensive than PT yellow pine framing, generic roof trusses, and roofing, and the finished product would look a lot better. We know some excellent contractors down here who are sort of looking for work right now since house building has slowed down. Factor in the savings for design (not needed for the kits), prep work (hole drilling, cutting, picking hardware, delivery, etc.), and this would be competitive. Again, THANKS. If wife says OK, I'll contact Yardistry re: abutting two 10X10s. They may have a custom fix for the joint, like how to overlap the roof slabs. Frank aka GEETEN knows what and where I talking about. On thread. Yeah, I started early - about fifteen minutes ago with highly watered OGD BIB. T'storms rolling through, but we got up early and did all the outside work (except the veggie picking which is why I got to start (edit - insert "sipping" here) early - she outside picking) before they got here. First drops hit just as I got a tarp tied over the riding mower. EXCELLENT workday. Vosgar
Uh oh, smokingjoe and me on the same wave length? I too had some FRYL (my bottles are still yellow, not tan) only I didn't do the frozen thing. Still a favorite while enjoying a cigar, this time an Illusione Rothchildes.

fosmith
Sorry for the sideways photo but don’t know how to change it on my phone. My office closed for Juneteenth, so I went for a Pennsy State Store explore for the first time in three months. Yes, the King of the Commonwealth has blessed His subjects with the privilege of browsing in a liquor store again! Came home with a Teeling Single Pot Still, which is the first Dublin-distilled Teeling product to hit the market. I like it! Right now, though, I'm listening to Steve Marcus' record The Lord's Prayer and sipping an EHTaylor Single Barrel BIB. That is one weird record, disjointed and filled with hippie self-indulgence, but the two tracks with Herbie Hancock and Miraslov VItous are proto-fusion of the highest order.
