Let us know your thoughts, it’s readily available here and a pretty cheap pour.

Don't get me wrong, the Old Overholt BIB Rye is good but to me the OF 100 Rye is one of the best ryes I've had recently.

It's good and will probably make the rotation of sub $30 bottles I rotate through as my house bottle.  Very different from the OF 100 Rye which I believe is a 51% rye and really drinks sweet with bourbon notes while the Overholt is much spicier and I get dill pickle/mint.  If you close your eyes you can envision young MPG rye type flavors.  Overall I will probably lean to buying the OF more often as I prefer that sweetness.

Anyone know mash on this?

Was able to get my hands on WSR 1.75 L today. Been trying to get some for months. Having a pour right now as I’m typing.

Could be a display of ignorance here, I'm braced for it, but I don't get how a small batch product can be single barrel? Or is this a chosen "single" barrel of a small batch?

Either way, I bought it.  Total Wine store pick.

I believe in the case of store pick Elijah,  it is a single barrel of Elijah Craig bourbon, proofed down to 94p, and bottled in the normal bottle, with the sticker denoting it being a single barrel.  I believe the bottles were worded this way on the previous 12 year bottle design as well.

Simply put, I don't think they want to create a new or different bottle for store pick barrels.

Knob Creek and Russell's Reserve both had similar bottles that said small batch and single barrel on the same bottle in the recent past, IIRC.

Small batch is the standard product. When a single barrel pick is made they use the same bottle but denote it being single barrel with the sticker.

In this case I'll be trying it today. It's the same price as the small batch.

Single barrel EC--- sign me up if it's good.

Thanks, All.

Wouldn't a single barrel be the smallest batch.

I'd like to see one of the legacy distillers come up with creative language to describe the batch size of their flagship brands.  Who could claim the largest batch, then someone would do a one off of something even larger. ??

Amen to that. I got a 12yr old for $40 OTD from FWGS and it is divine. Let us know your thoughts!

Though I stopped at about a dozen stores today on my way into AZ, all I purchased were these two little 375ml fellas. At 13.99 a piece I wouldn’t say it’s a old dusty score but I’m please. One to crack, the other for the bunker.
