RedVette
I asked the proprietor of the best liquor store here in town if he could special order some, and all I got was a confused look. "You can't get there from here" is a good paraphrase of our conversation.
musher
The liquor manager at my favorite store was aware of the Spring release when I emailed him about it, so I've got that going for me. It remains to be seen, however, just how big (or small) his allocation will be, so I don't know how much he'll be able to let me buy. Last fall, he got a whopping five cases (three bottles each), and let me have one case. I also got a single bottle for a friend, and a case of Sazerac (he got five cases of that, too). clayton
I asked the state liquor board here to order me a case, and after checking into it, they said that one solitary case had been allocated to the entire state of Washington, and it had already been spoken for. Clayton - That would be me! I had pm Ken Weber and he was kind enough to allow 1 case to be sent to WA state. I did the special order and this past week received confirmation that it had been ordered. I told Ken that I was going to offer a bottle to you as well. I was going let in come in, then suprise you. 1 bottle is yours for $46 if you want it.

clayton
Clayton - That would be me!.... Wade, that is a most generous gesture and I am deeply touched by it. I've had a very rough week, and a kindness like this means more than you know. I would be very pleased to take that off your hands when it comes in. Thank you! gr8erdane
THIS is what it's all about and what makes SB.com special. We all look out for everyone else. I can't wait to renew the bonds of friendship with such wonderful kindred spirits (no pun intended) in just one short month.
Ken Weber
So, this is how parallel shipping gets started! Ken
Ken Weber
We have advised all of our distributors that orders for Stagg must be received by the end of March and all shipped by the end of April. If anything is not shipped by April 29, it will be re-allocated to those distributors who have already asked for more. Bottom line, you should see it on shelves between April 4 and May 6.Ken
sharkman
Hi everyone! I can't get Stagg in pathetic little Ohio, so can anybody get me a bottle and I will buy it? Please PM me if you can help. It would be so appreciated (and Saintly ), I'd name my next born after you... but my wife can't get pregnant. It's the thought that counts though, right? Thanks all,
TNbourbon
Our store's BT distributor flat out lied to us -- the salesman told us Monday Middle Tennessee wouldn't get ANY bottles at all. But when I showed the storeowner your posting he called the distributor's liquor manager directly and -- voila! -- he 'discovered' a distribution of 20 3-packs, and our store can have all of 2 bottles. Of course, he also claimed they'd been 'discovered' buried in the stock warehouse, not realizing we know they haven't been shipped yet. Fact is, he probably doesn't know it himself. Edward_call_me_Ed
Very exciting! I hope I can get some. If I can't then I will just have to console myself with your other fine products. And the other wonderful bourbons from other distilleries.Ed
